ಸಾಹೇಬ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಬಗ್ಗೆಯಂತೂ ಮನೋರಂಜನ್‍ಗೆ ತುಂಬಾ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಗಳಿವೆ. ಚಿತ್ರತಂಡದ ಹಲವರು 1980ರ ರವಿಚಂದ್ರನ್ ಥರಾ ಕಾಣಿಸ್ತೀರಿ ಎಂದಾಗ, ಖುಷಿಯೂ ಆಗುತ್ತೆ. ಭಯವೂ ಆಗುತ್ತೆ ಅಂತಾರೆ ಮನೋರಂಜನ್. 

ಪ್ರತಿವರ್ಷ ಚಿತ್ರರಂಗಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊಸಬರು ಬರ್ತಾನೇ ಇರ್ತಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ, ಚಿತ್ರರಂಗಕ್ಕೇ ಹೊಸತನ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ರವಿಚಂದ್ರನ್ ಪುತ್ರ ಬರುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ವಿಶೇಷ. ಹೀಗಾಗಿಯೇ ಈ ಹೊಸ ಎಂಟ್ರಿ ಇಷ್ಟು ದೊಡ್ಡದಾಗಿ ಸದ್ದು ಮಾಡ್ತಿದೆ.

ಯಾರು ಈ ಭರತ್ ಎಂದರೆ, 10 ವರ್ಷ ಹಿಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಬೇಕು. ಕಂಠಿ ಅನ್ನೋ ಸೂಪರ್ ಹಿಟ್ ಚಿತ್ರ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ ಭರತ್, ಅದಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಸುಮ್ಮನೆ ಕುಳಿತುಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರು. 10 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ನಂತರ ಅವರು ಸಾಹೇಬ ಚಿತ್ರದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕಂಠಿ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಮೂಲಕ ಶ್ರೀಮುರಳಿ ಸ್ಟಾರ್ ಆದರು. ಸಾಹೇಬ ಚಿತ್ರದ ನಂತರ ಮನೋರಂಜನ್ ಸ್ಟಾರ್ ಆಗ್ತಾರಾ..? ಕ್ರೇಜಿಸ್ಟಾರ್ ಅಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಂತೂ ಜೋರಾಗಿದೆ.

Bruhaspati is the Kannada remake of the Tamil film VIP. It is Manoranjan Ravichandran's second film after Saheba. He has improved leaps and bounds in this film. Bruhaspati has turned out to be a very good film and is a great start to Kannada films this year. 

The story revolves around Sudheer, an engineer who is without a job. He has no backing in life and coming from a middle-class background he is unable to get himself into a good position in life. While his younger brother is earning handsomely Sudheer is left stranded. A girl moves next door and even she is earning good money in a job. It seems only Sudheer is the odd one. How Sudheer manages to make good of his life and start a career forms the rest of the story. 

It is a simple story about ordinary characters but the story makes heroes out of the characters without being dependent on heroism or buildups. There are good songs and good camerawork and the story moves swiftly without diverting into unwanted territory. It is slick and there is no lag anywhere in the film. Even the songs are made to flow smoothly along with the narrative. 

Nanda Kishore has made a good film and should be proud of it. Manoranjan as said earlier has improved a lot. His acting and dialogue delivery has improved a lot and he is perfect for the role. We can say a star is born with this film. 

There is overall good acting from all the actors. Saikumar, Sithara and Sadhu Kokila stand out. Harikrishana has scored some good tunes and one that is sung by Puneeth Rajkumar is particularly catchy. Sathya Hegde has matched the delights of the screenplay with his camera work.

Manoranjan's second film 'Brihaspathi' is all set to be released in the first week of January 2018, hereby making the film to be the first release of that year. Aru Gowda starrer '3 Gante 30 Dina 30 Second' is also likely to be released in the same week itself.

Manoranjan Ravichandran's second film 'Prarambha' is complete and is all set to release on the 23rd of August in You Tube. One of the highlights of this teaser is, Darshan has given over his voice and wished success for the film.

Veteran Lakshmi is playing the role of Manoranjan's mother in the debut film of Ravichandran's son. The actress arrived in Bengaluru earlier this week for the shooting. The film's schedule was cut for a weekend break since Thursday. Shooting will resume on Monday and Lakshmi will complete major portions of her role. The film is directed by Bharat and produced by Jayanna-Bhogendra.

Sources said that nearly 60% of the film shooting is complete. However none of the songs have been shot yet. Given that it is Ravichandran's son, special attention is being paid to the songs. Manoranjan is paired with Shanvi Srivastava. Shooting is going on for the last two months. 

Manoranan son of V Ravichandran celebrated his birthday with fans, family and friends at his residence in Bangalore on Sunday. This is Manoranjan's first public birthday.

Manoranjan Ravichandran surprised people of Rajajinagar by taking his mom on a bike ride on Dr Rajkumar Road. The actor who made his debut recently with Saheba was seen with his mother on a brand new Pulsar Street bike.

Ravichandran is well known in films for his biking starting from the film Premaloka. While it would be normal to expect his son Manoranjan to take some heroine on a bike he showed he is still his momma's boy by taking his mother on a ride.

Director Nanda Kishore is now ready with the trailers of the film. One teaser and one trailer are on the way. It is likely to be released on December 1. Sources say that the trailer will be tagged to the film Mufti which is releasing then. There are six songs in the film and they are also planned to be launched for public shortly.

Manoranjan Ravichandran whose birthday is on December 11 has announced that he will not be celebrating it as a mark of respect to Ambaresh who passed away recently. In an online message Manoranjan has requested fans not to bring cakes and fireworks to his house on December 11.

He has said that while the entire film industry is mourning the death of Ambareesh even he was not in the frame of mind to celebrate his birthday. However fans coming from distant places can wish him he has said.

Earlier, director Nandakumar had registered the same title and had started the film with his son. However, the title was changed to 'Yuvasamrat' later. However, the title 'Rockstar' is still with Nandakumar. If Nandakumar agrees to give the title, them Manoranjan's film would easily get the same title.

If everything had gone right, then Manoranjan's debut film 'Saheba' was supposed to release in the month of June. The film got delayed due to various reasons and now the film is all set to release on the 25th of August on the Ganesh festival day.

Manoranjan Ravichandran is the new star in Sandalwood. The film Saheba is the perfect launch vehicle for a newcomer we have seen in many years. The film is a very good love story that brings to life various characters in the best way possible. Manoranjan has proved to be a good successor for his father's romantic legacy in Sandalwood. He can dance, he can fight, he can act and he shows he has what it takes to be a long term player in the film industry. 

Manorajan plays Manu a book store owner and a person who likes to travel and be in the wild. He sees a girl and her mother struggle for good luck and decides to help the girl. He helps her in every way possible without her knowing it. But when she rises up in stature she does not know who Manu is. This happens due to unavoidable circumstances. Just then Manu realises that he loves the girl. 

The rest of the film is about how the two face off each other with the girl not realising who Manu is or how important he is to her life. How fate decides their future forms the rest of the story. Manu has made a good debut and director Bharath makes sure he presents the actor in a way that will please the audience. Though there is no heroism on display, he gives importance to the storyline and maintains a good narration from the beginning to the end.

The film has excellent music by Harikrishna and good photography work. Overall it is a film with very good production values. It has everything audience expect in a good entertainment film. Apart from Manoranjan, Lakshmi, Pramila Joshai, Bullet Prakash and Chidananda have done good roles in the film. 

Bharat has written the story, screenplay and also dialogues apart from directing the film. He makes a very good comeback after so many years.
