Well known producer, distributor Ajay Chandani has expired today evening. Ajay was driving the bike and met with an accident near mount carmal college. He was taken to Mahaveer Jain hospital but could not survive.

Ajay was the son of the famous person Pal Chandani who had expired one year back.

Premachandrama producer V E Ganesh has met with an accident and has expired. Early in the morning when he was going in bike near Ambedkar college he fell down and could not recover. He was aged 53 years.

Prema Chandrama was produced by Lion G. S. Jagadeesh, V. E. Ganesh, G. Krishnappa, Sunilkumar Sindhe under the banner Jenukallu Chitralaya starring Raghu Mukerji, Kiran, Rekha and others.

Ganesh was planning for another movie this year.

Actress and producer Sharmiela Mandre, who went on a jolly ride in her swanky car defying lockdown has met with an accident in the wee hours of Saturday.

The incident occurred in Vasanth Nagar when the actress was on a jolly rider with another friend. According to police, the car was driven by her friend when he lost control over it and rammed into one of the underpass pillars. Police said that the over speeding car was being driven recklessly due to which it resulted in the mishap.

It is learnt that the actress has sustained minor injuries on her head and face while her friend has sustained fractures on his shoulder. Both are being treated at a private hospital.

Reportedly, the preliminary investigation suggests that it could be a case of drink and drive. The High Grounds Police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.

Actor Shashikumar who was the hearthrob of the females decades ago was in Bigg Boss 3 stage on last Sunday where Kichcha Sudeepa interviewed him. Yes Shashikumar was a popular actor in 1990's and because of acting in films with Malashri he became more popular! But after the accident at Shivananda Circle where his face was injured, most of his friends got disconnected from him.

After the unfortunate accident only few friends remained including KJ Kumar, Ravishankar, Punga and yours truly. I remember the incident and its aftermath. After the accident Shashikumar was  depressed and he was not even coming out of his house to meet people. He was afraid to see his own face in the mirror as his looks had changed dramatically. From handsome it had become normal. Kumar, myself and others friends tried to instil confidence in him.

I did a photo shoot with him every week. It was his father's wish so that Shashikumar could gain confidence in himself. Luck also favoured him. Mudduraj decided to cast Shashikumar in the movie Kanna Mucchale. Anaji Nagaraj was the cinematographer.

On the muhuratha day director Mudduraj shot some scenes but was not impressed with Shashikumar's facial expressions. He wanted to drop him from the film. It would have been devastating for Shashikumar. KJ Kumar, myself and Anaji literally pleaded and convinced the director to give some time for Shashikumar.

ಕಿರಣ್ ರಾಜ್ ಹೀರೋ ಆಗಿರುವ ಮೊದಲ ಚಿತ್ರ ಬಡ್ಡೀಸ್. ಈ ವಾರ ರಿಲೀಸ್ ಆಗುತ್ತಿರುವ ಚಿತ್ರತಂಡಕ್ಕೆ ಆಘಾತ ನೀಡಿರುವುದು ಕರೆಂಟ್ ಕಂಬ. ಚಿತ್ರದ ಪ್ರಚಾರ ಕಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬ್ಯುಸಿಯಾಗಿರುವ ಚಿತ್ರತಂಡ ಪ್ರಚಾರಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯೇ ವಿಶೇಷ ವಾಹನ ಸಿದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು, ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗೂ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಈ ವೇಳೆ ಬೆಳಗಾವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಹನದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕರೆಂಟ್ ಕಂಬ ಬಿದ್ದಿದ್ದು ವಾಹನ ನಜ್ಜುಗುಜ್ಜಾಗಿದೆ.

ಕಾಲೇಜ್`ವೊಂದರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಚಾರ ಮುಗಿಸಿ ಬರುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ಟೀ ಕುಡಿಯಲೆಂದು ವಾಹನ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದೆವು. ಆಗ ಈ ಘಟನೆ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದೆ. ಅದೃಷ್ಟವಶಾತ್ ಆ ವೇಳೆ ವಾಹನದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬರೂ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ದೇವರು ದೊಡ್ಡವನು ಎಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಕಿರಣ್ ರಾಜ್.

ಬಡ್ಡೀಸ್, ಸ್ನೇಹದ ಮಹತ್ವ ಸಾರುವ ಕಥೆಯುಳ್ಳ ಸಿನಿಮಾ. ಕಿರಣ್ ರಾಜ್ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸಿರಿ ಪ್ರಹ್ಲಾದ್ ನಾಯಕಿಯಾಗಿ ನಟಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದು ಗುರುತೇಜ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನದ ಸಿನಿಮಾ.

ಮೈಸೂರು ಬಳಿ ನಟ ಚಾಲೆಂಜಿಂಗ್ ಸ್ಟಾರ್ ದರ್ಶನ್ ಅವರ ಕಾರು ಅಪಘಾತಕ್ಕೀಡಾಗಿದೆ. ಕಾರ್‍ನಲ್ಲಿ ದರ್ಶನ್ ಜೊತೆ ದೇವರಾಜ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರಜ್ವಲ್ ದೇವರಾಜ್ ಕೂಡಾ ಇದ್ದರು. ನಿನ್ನೆಯಷ್ಟೇ ಮೈಸೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಗಜಪಡೆಯ ಮಾವುತರೊಂದಿಗೆ ವಿಶೇಷ ಭೋಜನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ದರ್ಶನ್ ಜೊತೆ ಸ್ಯಾಂಡಲ್‍ವುಡ್‍ನ ಹಲವರು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಮುಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿಗೆ ಬರುವಾಗ ಹಿನಕಲ್ ರಿಂಗ್ ರೋಡ್ ಬಳಿ ದರ್ಶನ್‍ರ ಆಡಿ ಕಾರು ಸ್ಕಿಡ್ ಆಗಿದೆ. ಅಪಘಾತದಲ್ಲಿ ದರ್ಶನ್ ಬಲಗೈ  ಮೂಳೆ ಮುರಿದಿದ್ದು, ಖಾಸಗಿ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ದೇವರಾಜ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರಜ್ವಲ್ ದೇವರಾಜ್‍ಗೂ ಕೂಡಾ ಗಾಯಗಳಾಗಿವೆ.

ಮುಂಜಾನೆ 3 ಗಂಟೆ ಸುಮಾರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಅಪಘಾತ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದೆ. ದರ್ಶನ್ ಅವರ ಕಾರು ಅಪಘಾತದ ಸುದ್ದಿ ತಿಳಿಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದಂತೆ ಪತ್ನಿ ವಿಜಯಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಿ ದರ್ಶನ್ ಮೈಸೂರಿಗೆ ಧಾವಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
