With the entire nation under lockdown to fight coronavirus, social distancing by staying at home along with health safeties are now the number one priority of every citizen. However, the downtrodden section who depend on daily wage employment are facing the heat due to these difficult times. 

Of the many such sectors, the entertainment industry especially Indian film industry accounts to one of the largest employees who work on a daily wage basis. With complete shutdown of the industry, the workers are on the verge of extreme hardship without even bare minimum facilities for survival.

Aimed at helping such workers, Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan, Superstar Rajinikanth, our own Karunada Chakravarthy Shivarajkumar, Chiranjeevi, Mammootty, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhat, Mohanlal, Diljit and others featured in a unique short movie made at home titled 'Family'. It was directed virtually by Indian's prominent ad filmmaker Prasoon Pandey. Along with the message to stay safe and to stay home that these difficult times will pass too, the short film is to raise funds for the film workers.

The unique and impressive short film inspired Kannada filmmaker Pavan Wadeyar to make a similar short film but with a twist, titled 'Where Is My New Climax'. The short film stars the entire Raymo Team including the Producer Raymo, it's technical team and actors. The director is seen searching for the script of his new climax scene which seems to have been lost. 

The message is clear, as the Indian film industry is one big family. We all are here to help each other in these testing times. Stay at home and stay safe.

Well known director T S Nagabharana's son Pannaga is all set to turn director with a new film called 'City Market'. The film which is being produced by C R Manohar under the Tanvi Films banner is all set to be launched today.

Pannaga who was trying to become a director for the last few years is directing 'City Market' based on a real incident which occurred a few years back. Based on that incident he himself has written the story and screenplay of the film.

Actor Santhosh who has acted as a hero in Nagatihalli Chandrashekhar's 'Nooru Janmaku' is acting as a hero in this film. Newcomer Aashritha is the heroine of the film. Nobin Paul is in charge of composing the music, while Pradeep Padma Kumar is the cameraman of the film.

Puri Jagannadh is back directing a Kannada film. He has launched Ishan in Rogue which is produced by CR Manohar. It is a lavishly mounted film that is the perfect launchpad for anyone. Ishan has grabbed the opportunity with both hands and made a stunning debut.

He has been called Hritik Roshan in one of the dialogues in the film and of course he looks like the Bollywood actor in some scenes. He also has a body language of a star and can fight and dance like top stars. His acting abilities have also been honed and there is a bit of roughness in him that is common in newcomers and he can only become a better actor from here on.

The story takes place in Kolkota where the hero lives. He is called Rogue for his toughness. After his lover girl is being engaged to someone else he goes to the part and beats up many policemen in rage. However it turns out that his girlfriend was not really interested in him. He becomes angry with all girls. Soon he finds out that one of the policeman has become a cripple and five members of his family are in trouble. He decides to live and work for that family. He saves them from all trouble and manages to earn money to pay off their debts.

But there is a bigger problem following the heroine who also happens to be the sister of the policeman. The hero uses his brains, brawn and skills to keep the girl out of trouble. To find out how watch the film. The film also has some stunning and beautiful songs which are eye candy and with foot tapping music. The stunt sequences are also stunning.

Anoop Singh plays the villain and he is menacing and threatening. He plays the role of a psycho and has a character that is a good adversary to the hero.They play a game of cat and mouse and seem to be enjoying playing it. That is the beauty of the film. It is a perfect film for audience of all kinds. A star is born in Sandalwood.

Producer C R Manohar's new film, which stars his nephew Ishan is all set to release on the 31st of March in Triveni and other theaters across Karnataka. Right now, Dwarkish's 50th film 'Chauka' has completed 50 days in Triveni and the film will be replaced by 'Rogue' next week

'Rogue' marks the debut of Ishan and comeback of acclaimed director Puri Jagannath to Kannada cinema. Recently the audio release of the film was held in Bangalore and many celebrities from Sandalwood participated in the event.

'Rogue' stars Ishan along with Angela, Mannara Chopra, Ali and others in prominent roles. C R Manohar has produced the film, while Sunil Kashyap has composed the songs.

Actress Shanvi Srivatsa has be selected as heroine for CR Manohar's nephew Ishan movie temporarily selected movie as Amma I Love U. The film will be directed by KM Chaitanya and it is the 51st production of Dwarkish Films.

Speaking to Chitraloka producer Yogish Dwarkish told Today we have finalized Shanvi Srivatsava as the heroine. Movie shooting will start in October. Amma I Love you title is a working title only. Still we have not finalized the final title. Will give more details soon said Yogi Dwarkish 

For one whole year this film's title was in controversy for various reasons. After many changes it was finally renamed as Shivam. Not only does the film justify the title but also lives up to the hype and expectations created for various reasons including the title itself. A mass appealing story, Upendra's enigmatic appeal, Ragini's characterisation and loads of commercial aspects make Shivam a great watch for the audience.

There are twists and turns in the film aplenty. There are superb stunts and fight sequences, charming songs, brilliant visuals, fun and drama. All of these are encapsulate in a riveting storyline.

The film starts with the introduction of a temple and the priest who runs it. It is in its family for a thousand years. However bad eyes fall on it and Basavanna his second son has to rescue it. Basavanna, played by Uppi is an enigmatic character. He is shown to be a gangster involved in shady deals. But when his father dies, he takes up priesthood. He is revealed to have all the necessities of priesthood. So is Basavanna a priest or a gangster? The twists that follow are mind blogging. Director Srinivas Raju has managed to create suspense every step of the way.

Every character has its specialty. Ragini's character starts as a club dancer who becomes a gangster. But as the film progresses, it takes on more shades and this is easily one of the best roles Ragini got in her career. Ravishankar's character is also another special one.

Veteran actresses Bhavya and Geetha are brought back on screen but they have small roles. Otherwise other characters played by Srinivas Murthy, Shivaram, Bullet Prakash, Doddanna and others get good treatment. Producer Manohar has spent a great deal of money to make the film lavish. His brother C R Gopi plays one of the villains and proves his acting abilities.

The action in this film is top class and along with the lavishly mounted songs shot in exotic locations makes for an eye-candy entertainer. Saloni looks a bit older but holds her appeal and goes completely missing in the second half. The film is perfect if you want to watch an action packed suspense thriller that shows the glory of Indian values.

Upendra starrer 'Shivam' which was supposed to release a few months back itself, is all set to hit the screens on the 02nd of January. 'Shivam' will be the second film of the year after 'Khushikhushiyagi'. 'Shivam' is said to be the costliest film in Upendra's career.

The film has been made in a budget of 15 crores and Upendra plays a dual role in the film. He plays the role of a priest apart from playing the role of a sharp shooter. Ragini and Saloni plays the heroine in the film. C R Gopi, Doddanna and others play prominent roles in the film which is being shot in Bangalore, Mysore, Turkey and other places.

Dr C R Manohar who had produced films like 'Orata I Love You', 'School Master' and others is producing the film under the Tanvi Films Banner. Srinivasaraju has directed the film apart from scripting it. Mani Sharma is the music director.

The Villain team including Shivarajkumar and Sudeep will go on a tour of Karnataka shortly. Producer CR Manohar revealed that a helicopter is being hired for the purpose and the team including director Prem will go on the tour to thank the fans and further promote the film.

The film team had revealed that the film has made a record box office collection and has become the highest grossing film in Kannada in the first week. The film made a gross of Rs 20.5 crore on the first day and Rs 60 crore in four days. The film is all set to become the first Kannada film to cross Rs 100 crore at the box office says the producer. This will take two weeks or more. So there is need to push the film further. That is said to be the reason for this helicopter tour of Karnataka by the stars, director and producer. The team can go on tour this weekend itself say sources.

Shivarajkumar's new film Vajrakaya will be limited to only 200 screens says director Harsha. This is a deliberate strategy aimed at not flooding the theatres. Harsha says the film will be screened in around 180-200 screens with the aim of having a longer run.

The film is set for a June 12 release. Distributor Jayanna has picked up the distribution job and Vajrakaya will replace Puneeth's Ranavikrama in most screens including main theatre Santhosh.

ಒಂದು ಮೂಲದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ ಬಂದಂತಹ ವಿಲನ್, ಕೆಜಿಎಫ್ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳು ನೂರಾರು ಕೋಟಿ ಗಳಿಸಿವೆ ಎಂಬ ಸುದ್ದಿಯೇ ಇದಕ್ಕೆಲ್ಲ ಕಾರಣ ಎನ್ನಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಅಷ್ಟು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಮೊತ್ತ ಹೂಡಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು ಹೇಗೆ..? ಆ ಹಣ ಎಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಬಂತು..? ಅದು ಕಪ್ಪುಹಣವಾ..? ಹಾಗಾದರೆ, ಕಪ್ಪುಹಣದ ಮೂಲ ಎಲ್ಲಿ..? ಯಾರು..? ಇಷ್ಟೂ ಹಣಕ್ಕೆ ತೆರಿಗೆ ಕಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರಾ..? ಇಲ್ಲವಾ..? ಹೀಗೆ ಹಲವಾರು ಅನುಮಾನಗಳ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ದಾಳಿ ನಡೆದಿದೆ ಎನ್ನಲಾಗಿದೆ.
