Kannada film industry is slowly getting back to normalcy after the Corona Pandemic and many films have started shooting. Meanwhile, a new film called 'Hey Ram' was launched in Bangalore recently and actor Dhananjay off 'Daali' fame sounded the clap for the first shot of the film.

'Hey Ram' stars Dharma, Chaitra Kotur, Sapthami Gowda and others in prominent roles. A new hero will be introduced through this film and team has kept the actor under wraps.

The film is being produced and directed by Praveen Belur. V Nagendra Prasad has not only written the lyrics, but also has composed the music for the film.

The film is based on real life incidents chronicled by former Superindent of Police S K Umesh. Based on some real crime which he had witnessed during his tenure, Umesh has written the story and screenplay of the film.

Veteran Kannada movie producer H Ramamurthy has expired. He was aged 69. Ramamurthy was the producer for many movies like Jagadekaveera, Soma, Bal Nan Maga and others. 

Ramamurthy was not keep well from last few months and he is the relative of Actor Dharma.
