The second schedule of Srimurali starrer 'Madagaja' is all set to start from July 13th in Mysore. This schedule will see the entry of the film's villain on sets. Now, everybody is curious to know who will be playing the negative role in the film.

Sources say, the team has roped in a big artist who is also known in Telugu and Tamil film industry. Sources also say that it is either Vijay Sethupathi or Jagapathi Babu, who will be playing the villain's character in the film.

The team is tightlipped about who will be playing the role, but director Mahesh says, the villain will be paid a whopping 1.72 crores for 16 days.This is said to be the highest remuneration for any actor to be seen in a negative role in Kannada film industry.

Mahesh is planning to shoot the teaser of the negative character in the first week of July.  

The second schedule of Srimurali starrer 'Madagaja' has started for the last week of September and actor Jagapathi Babu has joined the sets. Jagapathi Babu will be playing the role of antagonist in this film.

Earlier, director Mahesh Gowda of 'Ayogya' fame had said that he has roped in a big artist who is also known in Telugu and Tamil film industry. He had given a hint that either Vijay Sethupathi or Jagapathi Babu, will be playing the villain's character in the film. 

Now Jagapathi Babu has joined the team andis currently shooting for the film. This is not the first time that Jagapathi Babu is seen in a negative role and earlier he has acted in films like 'Robert' and others. 

'Madagaja' stars Murali, Ashika Ranganath, Jagapathi Babu, Shivaraj KR Pet and others in prominent roles. The film is  being produced by Umapathi Srinivas Gowda who had earlier produced 'Robert' and 'Hebbuli'.

Well known Telugu actor Jagapathi Babu on Friday visited the memorial of Dr Rajakumar and Ambarish at Kanteerava Studio and paid homage to the legendary actors of the Kannada film industry.

Jagapathi Babu was in Bangalore for the shooting of his latest film 'Robert' at the Kanteerava Studio. Before the start of the shooting, Jagapathi Babu along with producer Umapathi Gowda and others visited the memorial and paid homage to Dr Rajakumar and Ambarish. 

Jagapathi Babu plays a negative role opposite Darshan in this film. 'Robert' is being written and directed by Tarun Sudhir.

Apart from Nikhil and Jagapathi Babu, Sadhu Kokila, Avinash and others playing prominent roles in the film. The search for the heroine for Nikhil is still on and a new face is likely to be introduced through this film. The regular shooting for the film will commence from January 04th.

Darshan's new film 'Robert' to be directed by Tarun Sudhir was launched on Monday in Bangalore. Now actor Jagapathi Babu has been roped in to play antagonist in the film. This is the first time Jagapathi Babu is acting with Darshan. 

'Robert' is being written and directed by Tarun Sudhir who had earlier directed 'Chowka'. Darshan has a very special role in this film and has already started working on the role.

Umapathi who had earlier produced 'Hebbuli' starring Sudeep, is producing the film. The heroine and the rest of the star cast is yet to be finalised. Shooting for the film will be held in Bangalore, Mysore, Vizag, Ayodhya and other places.

The shooting for Nikhil Kumar's debut film 'Jaguar' has started in Infosys campus in Mysore and the team will be shooting for more than 40 days in the campus. Before the shooting started the team held a pooja at the Chamundeshwari Temple in Mysore and prayed for the success. After the pooja, the team straightly went to the Infosys campus and started the shooting.

'Jaguar' is being directed by former Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy and directed by Rajamouli's protege Mahadev. The film has a story by well known writer Vijayendra Prasad and the film stars Nikhil, Jagapathi Babu, Deepthi Sathi, Avinash and others in prominent roles.

Darshan starrer 'Robert' is all set to be released on the 11th of March in Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana in a grand style. Meanwhile, the team is very much confident about the film, after the success of the pre-release events held recently.

'Robert' is releasing simultaneously in Kannada and Telugu and the team had organized pre-release events to promote the film in Hyderabad and Hubli respectively. The film was promoted amidst a huge gathering in both the places and the team is very much confident about the success of the film.

Jagapathi Babu who has played the antagonist in the film was the chief guest at the event in Hyderabad and the actor praised Darshan not only for his simplicity, but also his good nature. The actor welcomed Darshan to Telugu cinema and Darshan accepted that he will be collaborating with well known Telugu producer BVSN Prasad for a film in the future.

In the event held in Hubli, Minister Jagadish Shettar, MLA Raju Gowda, Sharan, Abhishek Ambarish and others were present at the occasion.

ನಂದಕಿಶೋರ್ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನದ ಪೊಗರು ಸಿನಿಮಾದ ಚಿತ್ರೀಕರಣ ಜೂನ್ 15ರಿಂದ ಶುರುವಾಗಲಿದೆ. ಜಗಪತಿ ಬಾಬು ದೃಶ್ಯಗಳು ಜುಲೈನಲ್ಲಿವೆ. ಕಥೆ, ಪಾತ್ರ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಇಷ್ಟವಾಗಿದೆಯಂತೆ. ಜಗಪತಿ ಬಾಬು ಡೇಟ್ಸ್ ಹೇಳೋದಷ್ಟೇ ಬಾಕಿ ಎಂದಿದೆ ಚಿತ್ರತಂಡ.
