The first trailer of Ragini-Dhruva starrer 'Kichchu' is all set to be launched on the 22nd of December. The film is expected to hit the screens in the month of January.

'Kichchu' is a film with ensemble star cast including Ragini, Dhruva Sharma, Abhinaya,  Saikumar, Suchendra Prasad and others. Sudeep is seen in a guest appearance in the film and Sudeep plays the role of a doctor who does social service.

'Kichchu' is written and directed by Pradeep Raj who had earlier directed 'Kirataka', 'Rajanikantha' and others. The film is produced by Indrajal Entertainments.

MMCH is an unusual film as it is a real commercial women centric film. Usually women-centric film means a parallel film but MMCH is an entertaining film where the protagonists are female. It has suspense, drama, action and sentiments in full force. Some of the best young female actors including Samyukta Hornad and Meghana Raj are part of the film with Ragini Dwivedi providing the firepower. 

The film starts with a murder investigation. A dead body fully decomposed is found in a garbage bin. Police are unable to identify it as it has rotted. Ragini, a super cop is called to find out the truth of the murder. The investigation part is beautifully narrated. It is like a thrilling ride with the cops stitching together one clue to the next and progressing in their case but always coming up short by a whisker. But Ragini, is a super cop who will not give up easily. What she finds out however turns out to be a very big surprise. The surprise is better seen on screen. 

From there the film takes a completely different turn. The flashback of the four girls who are studying together in a college and also stay in the same hostel is shown. It is not a simple story. They have a tough upbringing and are fighters. They do not bow down to eve teasing boys in college. At the same time, they are also playful and have the usual girlish crushes. The ending is something completely different seen in Kannada films. It has a stunning twist to the story. 

On the acting front, Ragini is in top form as a cop. It is a dream role for her. She is convincing as an investigator and awesome as a fighting force. Meghana Raj as a lover girl who is trying to get away from her boyfriend is sentimentally charming. Samyukta Hornad, Nakshatra and Prathama Prasad make up the gang of four. You have to see their antics on the screen to believe how entertaining it is. However the boys have a smaller role to play in this film. Both Yuvaraj and Raghu Bhat are crucial to the story but their on screen presence is much less than male stars in regular films. Overall MMCH is an entertaining watch that is different from the regular hero worshipping movies.

P C Shekhar directing 'Aa Dinagalu' Chethan in a new film is not a new news. The film was supposed to start by now. But due to various reasons, the film has been delayed and Shekhar has taken up a new film.

This time, Shekhar will be directing Ragini Dwivedi in a new film called 'The Terrorist'. He himself has scripted the film apart from directing it. He is telling the consequences of terrorism in this film. Shekhar plans to finish off the film in a single month schedule in and around Bangalore.

'The Terrorist' has cinematography by Murali Krish and music by Pradeep Varma. The film is all set to go on floors on the 07th of December.

Krish Joshi directed Parapancha starring among others, Diganth, Ragini Dwivedi, Anant Nag and Ashok, has passed the censor test. The film has obtained U/A certificate without even a single cut suggested.

After the Censor, the film is 2 hours and 18 minutes long. The audio of the film was released recently and got good response in the market. Three of the songs are already a hit. Sources said that the release date has not been fixed but Parapancha will be in theatres anytime in November. The film is made under the Yograj Movies banner.

Yogaraj Bhat is spoiling his reputation by lending his name to such films. 2016 may still be young but Parapancha is by far the worst film so far. It may carry the distinction for sometime to come. The film lacks clarity, focus, depth and anything else that makes a film worth while.

Whether the film was spoilt during the scripting itself or during shooting is not known. But it is no doubt it is spoilt. It looks like 8-10 episodes of various serials was mixed up and Parapancha was created. 

For the mundane to the silly, the film has it all. None of the characters have depth. Almost the entire film takes place in a bar (it is also supposed to be a restaurant but none of them seem to be eating or even ordering anything). Diganth plays a supplier who figures out and solves problems of various people drinking in the bar.

The most irritating character is that of Rangayana Raghu. There are enough dialogues for 5-6 films in Parapancha and Rangayana Raghu speaks half of it. Watching Parapacha will make you pity yourself.

Kannada movie Kicchu is the only movie in the world which stars two deaf and dumb artists Dhruva Sharma and Abhinaya who have acted as a deaf and dumb character in the movie. Dhruva Sharma is a CCL player and actress Abhinaya had acted with Puneeth Rajkumar in Hudugru. 

Pradeep Raj who had directed Yash movie Kirataka, Anjada Gandu, Ganesh movie Mr 420, Bengaluru 560094 has directed this movie Kicchu. Ragini Dwivedi is in the lead role supported by Saikumar, Suchendra Prasad and others.

Actress Ragini has blasted director Srinivasaraju and has called him a cheap film maker. Srinivasaraju and Ragini worked together in 'Shivam' and during the photo shoot of their next film 'Natikoli' the duo fought bitterly due to various reasons. The issue even went to the Karnataka film chamber of commerce. Though the issue became big, Ragini had not reacted anything about it. Ragini during the press meet of 'Hulidevara Kaadu' not only talked about the  issue, but also blasted director Srinivasaraju.

'They tried to sabotage my career. What was the need to reveal unedited photos. He could have done sex film instead of doing such cheap gimmick. He should have some dignity. I don't want to work with him again. If the producer changes the director, then I may act in the film' said Ragini.

Actress Ragini Dwivedi has bought the Bellary Tuskers team in the Karnataka Premier League along with Aravind Reddy of E-Zone. She is the second Sandalwood star to buy a KPL team after Sudeep who bought the Namma Shivamogga team last year.

Sudeep also plays in the Rockstars team in KPL. Ragini however will not be part of the proceedings on the ground but will manage the team. It is not known what was the cost of the purchase and Ragini refused to divulge details about it. The new season of KPL will start on September 15.

Actress Ragini on Sunday celebrated her birthday with her fans and public and even attended a grand event organised by the Ragini Dwivedi Fans Association. The fans association had organised various charity activities apart from a huge event at the KASSIA auditorium in Vijayanagar. Ragini along with her father attended the event and donated clothes to elders and note books to the needy students.

After that Ragini celebrated her birthday amongst her fans and public by cutting a huge cake. Lyricist K Kalyan was present at the occasion.

Sandalwood actors Ragini Dwivedi and Rachana Inder have shown their concern for the environment and their love for Lord Ganesha by participating in a unique event.

The Gennext Charitable Trust and BharatinagarResidents Forum had organized a special programme on the eve of the Ganesha Chaturthifestival this week. Hundreds of Ganesha idols made of clay is being moulded on the spot and distributed to children.

Ragini Dwivedi and Rachana moulded Ganeshaidols to launch the event. The local residents also felicitated the duo on the occasion. Since the idols are made of clay without chemical dyes or paint, they do not harm the water bodies. 

“Lord Ganesha is my favourite. I have enjoyed Ganesha Chaturti festival all my life and can’t get enough of it. I am happy to be promoting clay Ganesha and it is nice to see the organisersgiving it away to children. This will ensure that these children will grow up not only celebrating our tradition but also doing it in a befitting manner,” Ragini said.

Actress Ragini who was in jail for more than 140 days for her involvement in the drugs case has finally been granted bail by the Supreme Court of India.

Ragini was arrested on September 05 for her involvement in the drugs case and the actress was in custody since then. Ragini had applied for bail first in the trial court and later in the Karnataka High Court. However, the bail was rejected.

On Thursday, the Supreme Court has granted bail to the actress and after being in Parappana Agrahara Jail for more than 140 days, the actress is finally free.

Ragini Dwivedi plays an English teacher in the film Gandhigiri in which she stars opposite Prem. She started shooting for the film on Friday. Ragini is transferred to a village school where she finds that not everything is in order.

It is not just the students she has to teach but also people in the village. After several films in which she was wearing only jeans and jackets, the actress has finally gone back to wearing traditional dress in Gandhigiri. The actress said that she felt like Sushmita Sen in the film Main Hoo Na while wearing a saree for Gandhigiri. 

Glam doll actress Ragini has won an award for the most promising face of Indian cinema 2015 by the Indian affairs. The award is a very prestigious award given by the Indian leadership Conclave in Mumbai on Friday. Ragini is now in Mumbai to receive the award today evening

Actress Ragini has lost 15 kgs after a strict workout. Her role in the new film Naane Next CM required her to be seen as extremely fit. So the actress put herself on an intensive workout regime and lost 15 Kgs. He had joined Jindal and now in strict diet.

'Musssanje' Mahesh's new film 'MMCH' is all set to release this Friday (July 13th) across Karnataka in more than 100 theaters.

One of the highlight of the film is, Ragini plays an investigative officer in this film. Though Ragini has acted as police officer in few films, this is the first time, she is seen in such a role. Apart from Ragini, daughters of well known supporting actresses have acted in this film. Meghana Raj daughter of Pramila Joshai, Samyukta Belawadi daughter of Sudha Belawadi, Prathama daughter of Vinaya Prasad and Nakshatra daughter of Sumitra have acted in this film.

'Mussanje' Mahesh himself has written the story, screenplay and dialogues of the film. Janakiram and Aravind are the producers. Nagesh Acharya is the cameraman, while V Sridhar Sambhram is the music director.

After scuba diving in the Maldives recently, Ragini is once again on an adventure trip. On early Sunday morning, she with a team of bike enthusiasts including producer Shivaprakash rode the Nandi hills on bikes.

Ragini rode a Triumph superbike which many consider a challenge in itself. The actress is an adventure freak and known to take up so many challenges of this kind. She was obviously elated at easily managing to bike her way up the winding ghat section of the famous hills and reach the top.

Kannada industry glamour queen Ragini Dwivedi has been sent to to Paraparana Agrahara Jail by the 1st ACMM Court. CCB police has asked Sanjana for custody since they needed more information from Sanjana and court granted them for CCB custody.

For the first time in the Kannada movie industry actress has been sent to jail for on drug Case.

Earlier CCB had taken actress Ragini and Sanjana Galrani to their custody on the grounds of drug case inquiry. Sources said both actress had not spoken properly in the CCB custody.

Earlier, the CCB had arrested Ragini's aide Ravishankar and sources said that he is said to have given some crucial information to the police in a drug case.

It took Ragini weeks to get into the character of Reshma. She plays a Muslim character for the first time in her career and since she did not have close connection with Muslim culture, it was a challenge for her. But the actress has come out in flying colors the film team says.

Ragini studied the cultural ways of Muslims and even learnt to do the namaz and wear the hijaab. "When you look at her character, you will be surprised. It will be just like a normal Muslim girl. You will not realize that she is an actor. That is the kind of involvement she had," the director says.

For days together Ragini studied the methods and ways to get into the character. After doing glamorous and action roles, the actress is now in this thriller film which explores the ways of terror and how a woman is affected and how she overcomes it.
