Actor-politician Ambarish's son Abhishek's debut film is likely to be titled as 'Amar'.

Producer Sandesh Nagaraj is looking for a good title for Abhishek's film and is looking for titles of Ambarish's films. Incidentally, Ambarish's original name is Amarnath and film was released with the same name in the 80s. Apart from that Ambarish's character's name in many films was Amar. So, due to popularity and sentimental reasons, the film is likely to be titled as 'Amar'

Director Chethan Kumar of 'Bahaddur' and 'Bharjari' film has been chosen to direct Ambarish's son Abhishek's debut film. The film will be launched by February end or early March. More details about the film are yet awaited.

Music director Gurukiran released the audio of Sumanth Shailendra starrer 'Bhale Jodi'. The film is being produced by Shailendra Babu and the songs have been composed by Sadhu Kokila.

'Bhale Jodi' is the remake of Telugu hit 'Ala Modalaindi' and is in the making for the last one year. 'All the films I have produced till now has not taken so much time. Thanks to Sadhu, this film is in the making for the last one year' said Shailendra Babu.

Sumanth, Sanvi Srivatsav and others were present at the occasion and Aditya Music has purchased the audio rights of the film.

Sumanth Shailendra's new film 'Cherry' which is being directed by debutante Bhadravathi Jayaram and produced by Manjunath Babu who earlier produced 'Bramha' is all set to go on floors from the 23rd of January.

Recently, the photo shoot for the film was held in a private apartment in Bangalore.

Earlier, only Sumanth was finalised for the title role of Cherry and the lead actress for the film was not finalised. Now Malayalam actress Raksha Marina is said to be playing the female lead in the film. Arjun Janya is the music composer of the film.

It's going to be a double dhamaka on December 12! No, we are not talking about any big movies releasing on that day but two Kannada actors entering into wedlock on the same date.

First, it was Aindrita Ray and Diganth Manchale who announced that they are getting married on Dec 11 and 12, and now it is the turn of the Dilwala actor Sumanth Shailendra, son of leading Kannada producer Shailendra Babu who is getting married on the same dates in Bengaluru.

Sumanth who made his debut with 'Aata’ and earned fame with Dilwala starring opposite Radhika Pandit, is all set to bid adieu to his bachelor life. His marriage with Anitha, is scheduled on Dec 11 (reception) and 12th being the wedding day.

Sumanth, son of producer Mr S. Shailendra Babu and Mrs. Poornima S. Babu is marrying Anitha, daughter of Mrs. Chandrakala and Mr. Srinivas Narappa. The reception as well as the wedding will be held at Bengaluru main palace.

Following his previous release in Kannada 'Lee’ alongside Nabha Natesh, he is made his debut in Telugu with 'Brand Babu’. Chitraloka wishes Mr & Mrs. S. Babu on their son's marriage being fixed in December.

Senior producer M N Kumar had recently announced that he would be producing a film called 'Rai' in the direction of Ramgopal Verma and Sudeep as the hero. Two days after that M N Kumar has announced yet another new film.

The new film is called as 'Dum Idre Baa' and stars Sumanth Shailendra in the lead role. Udaya Prakash who gave a disaster like 'DK' is directing the film apart from writing the screenplay. This is the first time that M N Kumar is working with Sumanth and Udaya Prakash.

The film is likely to be launched in December this year. More details about the film are yet awaited.

Sumanth Shailendra is back and this time he has a wholesome film on offer. Unlike a specific genre of films he had acted in like Dilwala, Tirupathi Express, Bettanagere and Bhale Jodi this film Lee, directed by HN Srinandan has action, drama and romance packed into one film. 

Sumanth has grabbed the opportunity to showcase his talent in different getups for this film. There is romance with Nabha Natesh, aciton with the screen villains and drama in the story. Sumanth gets able support from Nabha Natesh and supporting cast that includes Rahul Dev, Sneha, Sadhu Kokila, Rangayana Raghu, Achyuth Kumar, Suchindra Prasad and others. 

The story starts with a mad person on the street. But soon the reason for his condition is revealed. He is a kung-fu expert who was running an academy. He falls in love with a girl but a villain is too after the same girl. Charlie (Sumanth) is tricked and beaten up and brought to this condition. The rest of the film is about how he recovers and takes his revenge and if he gets his girl. 

On the technical front there is able support from MU Nandakumar. His photography gives the film good visuals. The action scenes are captured in a thrilling manner. dialogues by Masti, lyrics by Vachana Sriram stand out. The action scenes have been nicely choreographed by Kungfu Chandru handled stunts. Music by Anand Vikram is above average while Gurukiran give the film an enchanting background score.

Recently the team held a press conference and talked about the progress of the film. The film has been shot for a period of 90 days and is in the post-production stage now.

'Lee' is being produced by Sarathy Satish and others. The film stars Sumanth, Nabha Natesh, Sadhu Kokila, Ravishankar and others. Nandakumar is the cameraman, while Gurukiran is the music director.
