Actor-director Hemanth Hegade has started a unique public drive for his new film 'Sa' starring JK, Vijay Surya and Samyuktha Belavadi. The new publicity campaign includes posters which shows the main artistes in Wanted column. Hemanth Hegade has designed the posters in such a way that the artistes are shown as wanted by the Karntaka Police.

'It's a new type of publicity we have started and it goes along with the film and not just a gimmick' says Hemanth Hegade. As of now, the posters are seen only in Bangalore and in the coming days the posters will be seen across Karnataka.

Hemanth Hegade's new film 'Sa' is all set to be released on the 26th of August and Hemanth Hegade intends to plan the film in only six theaters in Bangalore, Mysore and Mangalore.

Hemanth says he is taking a big risk this time. 'I know I am taking a huge risk for this film. Our distributor Mars Suresh is ready to release the film in 100 theaters. But I am doing an experiment with this film. This is not a regular film and the audience will take some time to come to this film. I don't want to release the film in 100 plus theaters and struggle hard to sustain the theaters. Instead I am planning to release the film in only six theaters in the first week and if the audience takes it well, the distributor can release the film in 100 theaters in the second week. If the audience does not take the film well, then it is upto the distributor to release the film in as many theaters he wants' says Hemanth Hegade.

Director Hemanth Hegde has changed the name of his film Mattomme Ssh. The film will henceforth be called 'Sa'. The change was necessitated after several other films have been announced with similar sounding names.

Ssh was the second film of Upendra and became a big hit 20 years ago. The horror film has inspired many others recently to name their films after it. So there are films like Ssh Echcharike, Matte Ssh and others.

In this crowded scenario, Hegde felt that his film Mattomme Ssh would be lost. He has therefore changed the name to just 'Sa' so as to stay different from others. The film was launched earlier this year and stars Hegde, JK, Vijay Suriya, Anuradha Mukherjee, Samyukta Hornad and others.

Actor Puneeth Rajakumar released the songs of 'Sa' composed by Veer Samarth on Saturday evening at the Town Hall in Bangalore. The team members including JK, Vijay Surya, Hemanth Hegade, Samyuktha Belavadi and others were present during the occasion.

It was a colourful event at the Town Hall and amidst a huge audience, Puneeth Rajakumar released the songs of the film. The trailer of the film was also released at the same occasion.

'Sa' is ready for censor and Hemanth Hegade plans to announce the date of the film, once the film is censored.

Hemanth Hegade's new film 'Sa' which was released in six multiplexes in Bangalore, Mysore and Mangalore has taken a good opening in Box-office.

Hemanth Hegade says the film has taken 70% good opening at the box-office and is appreciated by one and all.
