If everything had gone right, then Upendra starrer 'Upendra Matte Baa' was supposed to release on his birthday. However the film's release was postponed due to various reasons and now the trailer of the film has been released and is trending in top position.

'Upendra Matte Baa' is a remake of Telugu hit 'Soggade Chinna Nayana'. Upendra's protege Loki who had directed Upendra in 'H2O' is the director of the film. The film stars Upendra, Prema, Chandini, Shruthi Hariharan, Deepika Kapse, Shobharaj, Vasishta Simha and others in prominent roles.

Upendra is playing a dual role in the film apart from scripting it. Prema and Shruthi Hariharan are the heroines. Sridhar Sambhram has composed the music for the film. Swamy J is the camerman.

Upendra's new film 'Kabza' being produced and directed by R Chandru is all set to be launched on the 18th of November. Meanwhile, it is being said that Upendra plays a 80s don in the film.

Recently, the photo shoot of the film has been done and Upendra is seen in a retro look in the film. Cars of that era has been used in and Upendra's look also makes one remember of the 1980s. Though Chandru has not revealed anything about the film, he has said that his film is a new version of the underworld.

The launch of the film is scheduled on Monday in Kanteerava Studio and Shivarajakumar will be sounding the clap for the first shot of the film and Bangalore City Commissioner Bhaskar Rao will be switching on the camera.

'Kshamisi Nimma Kaatheyalli Hanavilla' stars Diganth, Aindrita, Ranjani Raghavan and others in prominent roles. Diganth plays the role of a farmer in this film. Silk Manju who had earlier produced Upendra's 'A', 'Ring Master' and other films is producing the film. Prajwal Pai is the music director.

Actor-director Upendra on Thursday morning released the trailer of Rakshith Shetty's new film 'Kirik Party' at the Renukamba Preview Theater in Malleshwaram. Upenda wished the team of 'Kirik Paty' a hue success after releasing the trailer of the film.

'Kirik Party' is being produced by actor-director Rakshith Shetty under his new production house called Paramvah Studios. Rakshith himself has written the story of the film apart from playing a hero. The film revolves around the ups and downs of engineering students.

Only three days are left for Upendra's birthday (September 18th) and fans of the actor all over Karnataka is making arrangements to celebrate the Real Star's birthday in a grand style. Meanwhile, the actor has requested his fans to not to bring garlands or cakes, instead has requested them ti bring saplings.

Upendra on Sunday requested his fans via twitter to not to waste money on cakes and garlands. Instead, he has requested his fans to bring saplings as birthday gift. The actor has said that he will plant it in and raise them.

Upendra had requested the same to his fans on his previous birthday also. He had told his fans to not spend money on cakes, vinyls and garlands and had requested his fans to use the same amount to some good purposes. However, the fans did not pay much attention to Upendra's words and came with cakes and garlands and celebrated his birthday in a grand style.

Upendra has taken his close friends and their families on a vacation to Coorg. They are all camped in a private resort in a Coorg valley sources said. Upendra is also said to be finalising a new film he will direct.

During this family trip, even the film is likely to be finalised and his friends will decide which story to choose. Upendra will start the direction of the new film after Kalpana 2 and the Oh My God remake with Sudeep.

Upendra's association with the Telugu film industry is old and the actor has not only acted in many Telugu films, but also has directed 'Omkara' which is a remake of 'Om'. Now Upendra has signed yet another film after 'S/O Satyamurthy', after a gap of five years.

Upendra will be acting in a new film called 'Boxer' starring Varun Tej. The film revolves around Boxing and though Upendra's role in the film has not been divulged, it is being said that he might play the role of Varun's coach in the film. Sai Manjrekar has been roped in as the heroine of the film.

Though the pre-production work of the film has been completed, the team is yet to announce the shooting date. As the pandemic is on rise in Andhra and Telangana, the shooting of the film will is expected to commence later this year.

Actor-director Upendra said he has immensely liked the concept of 'Bigg Boss' and if given a chance he would like to participate in the show. Upendra was the guest at the Super Sunday with Sudeep programme which is a part of 'Bigg Boss'. Participating as a guest, Upendra said he would like to participate in the show.

'I have been seeing the show and I like the concept of the show. The programme is just like real live and 'Bigg Boss' plays the role of God. I cannot participate now due to various commitments. If I get a chance I might participate in the programme' said Upendra.

Director R Chandru had announced that his new film with Upendra I Love You is has actor Upendra in the same kind of role as in 'A' and 'Upendra' the films directed by Upendra himself. Upendra made a sequel to Upendra called Uppi2 recently.

These films were sensational for the names of the lead characters played by Uppi. From 'Naanu' to 'Unknownu' they created a huge sensation. So what is the name of Uppi's character in I Love You? It is Santosha! Chandru says it is a combination of 'Naanu' and 'Unknownu'.

Happiness comes when 'naanu' and 'unknonwu' are in harmony. There is harmony in the character therefore he is happy. The character's name therefore is 'Happy' or 'Santosha' according to this logic. More surprises are in store from I Love You in the coming days.

Uppi's next is Kalpana 2

Upendra starrer Kalpana 2 which is a remake of Tamil hit Kanchana 2 is all set to hit the theaters on the 15th of July across Karnataka. Kalpana 2 was launched in the end of 2015. Earlier, it was being said that the film would be shot in five schedules. However, it was reduced to one single lengthy schedule and the shooting for the film was completed a couple of months back. Now the film is ready for release and the film is scheduled for a July 15th release.

Actor-producer K M Rajendra is the producer of the film, while Anantharaju who is known for remakes is directing the film. H C Srinivas is the presenter of the film. Uppi's next is Kalpana 2

Upendra's new film 'I Love You' being directed by R Chandru was launched today morning at the Kanteerava Studio in Bangalore amidst much fanfare.

The launch was attended by Shivarajakumar, former Minister H M Revanna, MLA G T Devegowda, Pratham and others. While Shivarajakumar sounded the clap for the first shot of the film, H M Revanna switched on the camera.

'I Love You' is being produced by R Chandru himself. Kiran is the music director, while Naveen of 'Mufti' fame is the cameraman.

Upendra's new film 'I Love You' being directed by R Chandru is all set to be launched tomorrow (Monday) morning at the Kanteerava Studio in Bangalore.

The launch will be attended by Shivarajakumar, former Minister H M Revanna, Telugu producer Lagadapati Sridhar and others. While Shivarajakumar will be sounding the clap for the first shot of the film, H M Revanna will be switching on the camera.

'I Love You' will be made simultaneously in Kannada and Telugu. The film is being produced by R Chandru himself and the star cast and the technicians of the film are yet to be finalised.

Upendra's new film to be directed by well known director Shashank was launched on Independence Day at the Panchamukhi Ganapathi Temple in Mahalakshmi Layout in Bangalore.

Shashank was supposed to direct Upendra's film long back. However, the film could not go on floors due to various reasons. Now the time has finally arrived and the film has been launched in a simple affair. Shashank's daughter sounded the clap for the first shot of the film.

Shashank himself is producing the film apart from scripting and directing it. This is his second production after 'Thayige Thakka Maga'. Nishvika Naidu and Rukmini of 'Birbal' fame are the heroines. Sugnan is the cinematographer, while Arjun Janya is the music composer.

The first look and the title of the film will be unveiled on Upendra's birthday on the 18th of September.

Upendra's new film 'Nagarjuna' was launched at a temple in Mysore Palace on Monday afternoon. Upendra, Meghana Raj and others were present at the occasion.

'Nagarjuna' is being directed by Gurudutt who had earlier produced 'Psycho' and directed 'Khaidi'. This is his second film as a director and first with Upendra. The film is a family film in the lines of 'Kutumba' and Gowramma.

The shooting for the film will be starting soon and Manohar Joshi is in charge of cinematography for this film.

Upendra's new film which is producer by Vijayalakshmi Urs (former chief of Kanteerava Studio) and directed by Madesh was launched in Kanteerava Studio in Bangalore on Monday morning.

The new untitled film stars Upendra and Rachita Ram as the main lead. Vijayalakshmi Urs herself has written the story of the film. Rajesh Katta is the cameraman, while Sadhu Kokila has been roped in as the music director of the film.

Producers N M Suresh, Keshava, Narasimha and others were present at the occasion.

Actor Upendra who is all set to float a new political party has named the party as Uttama Praja Party and will be registering the title at the Election Commission of India soon.

On Sunday, Upendra had held a meeting with his think-tank and in that meeting it was decided to keep the name as Uttama Praja Party.

Meanwhile, Upendra is flooded with the feedback from fans and public about the new party and many have welcomed Upendra's decision to join politics. Upendra's New Party Named Uttama Praja Party
