The audio release of 'Care of Footpath 2' being directed by Kishan is all set to be released on the 03rd of November. Kishan is also planning to release the audio of the Telugu version 'Maanja' on 2nd or 4th of November.

'Care of Footpath 2' is under the post production stage and Kishan plans to release the film by this year end. Meanwhile, he plans to release the audio of Kannada and Telugu versions of the film soon.

Esha Deol, JK, Avika Ghor, Jackie Shroff, Dr Mohan Agashe and others play prominent roles in the film.

'Care of Footpath 2' which is directed by S S Kishan has been selected as an official entry for the 'Bollywood Boulevard', an Indian film festival happening at Amsterdam, Netherlands.

The movie is screened along with 'Bajirao Mastani', 'Sanam Teri Sanam' and evergreen films like 'Sholay', 'Devdas' and 'Mother India'. 'Care of Footpath 2' is the only film representing South India and Kannada.

Earlier, 'Care of Footpath' was selected as an official entry in the 'Cinekid International Children's Film Festival' in Amstedam. Now the film has been selected for an International Film Festival in Amsterdam. The festival starts from 20th May and lasts till 23rd May.

Sa Ra Govindu, the new president of the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce wished actor-director Kishan that he wins an Oscar award for his latest film 'Care of Footpath-2'.

Sa Ra Govindu who was present during the audio and trailer release of 'Care of Footpath 2' said that if Kishan would win an Oscar for the film, then he would definitely bring Kishan from Bangalore International Airport to Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce through a huge procession and felicitate him. Govindu wished that Kishan wins an Oscar award for 'Care of Footpath 2'' said Sa Ra Govindu.

South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce president H D Gangaraju, Kishan's father Srikanth and others were present at the occasion.

Kannada noted film director Dayal Padmanabhan has written an article on the so called Oscar Lateral Entry Care of Footpath 2 directed by Kishan. Following is the letter sent to chitraloka.

“I would rather be known in life as an honest sinner, than a lying hypocrite” This quote is my life’s mantra and the soul reason which drives me to constantly stand my grounds on any issue. 

For people who have managed to follow me on my social forum, are to be sure about my attitude towards placing on record, my humble opinion about anything that concerns our much treasured industry of cinema. Few days back, my statements regarding few people gloating the ‘submission’ of their film as ‘entry’ to Oscar is one such instance.

The motion poster of Care of Footpath-2 uploaded in YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eDtRtiba9pI) attempts at laying down few statistics, but sadly they have messed up the meaning of two distinctive terms ‘submission’ and ‘entry’. As far as the prestigious Oscar award is concerned, even the submission through the Film Federation of India (FFI) which is the authorized body of our country to recommend films to the academy, is laudable. As the struggle is hard! On an average Indian film industry produces 2000 films* per year. Maximum of only 2.5% ** (approx.. 50) of total films made are submitted to the FFI for consideration to Oscar submission in the category of FOREIGN LANGUAGE FILM AWARD and the FFI submits only one feature for the same. 

While ace filmmakers of our land are on a walking race to this award, a legal backdoor entry termed as ‘Lateral Entry’ by just taking a flight to reach the United States must not be treasured like the latter. Even concerned filmmakers must ethically understand these hardships faced by other filmmakers while giving their backdoor entry a similar stature. Think before starting to blow your trumpets!

Gems like MS Sathyu, Mira Nair, Mehaboob Khan, Mani Ratnam, Kamal Haasan, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Aamir Khan, Ashutosh Gowariker and many other’s efforts and genuineness shown by taking the FFI route to the academy awards is brought to a minuscule through this immature act. 

Unfortunately, one of the biggest and popular names in the play, Hema Malini, Member of Rajya Sabha, irresponsibly tweeted about the same as this film features her daughter Eesha Deol in a lead role, without gaining knowledge on the ground reality and facts. 

Do not mislead the film patrons and let the truth conquer!
