It's been one year since Shivarajakumar's 'Drona' was launched. After a slow process, the film is finally complete and the first teaser of the film is all set to release on the 15th of August on the Anand Audio channel in You Tube.

'Drona' is an out and out commercial film. Actor Pramod Chakravarthy has turned director with this film and he has written the story, screenplay and dialogues of the film apart from directing it. The film stars Shivarajakumar, Iniya, Swathi Sharma, Rangayana Raghu, Sadhu Kokila, Babu Hinrannaiah, Rekhadas and others in prominent roles. 

'Drona' is being produced by Mahadev, Sangamesh B and Sheshu Chakravarthy. Jagadish Wali is the cinematographer, while Ramkrish is the music director.

The VFX-artist turned director Vinay has worked with A Harsha and Naresh Kumar in the past and is hopeful that the audience will appreciate the effort of his entire Nanna Prakara team. Century star Shivarajkumar who has turned producer through his home banner 'Sree Muttu Cine Services', which is being taken care by his daughter Nivedita Shivarajkumar, initially started with small screen venture titled 'Manasa Sarovara' and then took up web-series in association with RJ turned director Pradeep's Sakkath Studio.

Their second Kannada web-series titled 'Honeymoon' became the first ever web-series to be shot in Kerala's Alleppey. It will also feature several Malayalam actors in the web-series long with Nagabhushan and Sanjana Anand in the lead.

Cinematographer Srisha Koduvalli who worked for super hit films such as Bahaddur, Bharjari and Yajamana has worked for the his series, for which Vasuki Vaibhav who has scored music for it.

The Honeymoon team expressed its gratitude to Alleppey DC Suhas, who hails from Mandya, for all the support during the shooting of the series. The team plans to release the series following pending shooting in Bengaluru and after the conclusion of 'Hate You Romeo' series.

Dwarakish Chitra's 50th venture Ayushmanbhava starring Karunada Chakravarthy, Rachitha Ram, Anantnag and several others in the lead, is ready for release on November 1.

While the film has high expectations amongst the fans of Shivanna, Dwarakish productions and even the composer Gurukiran, who marks his 100th in his career, the leading lady Rachitha Ram has been in the news for her 'good or bad' statement!

The actress during a press meet had expressed saying that she has given her best to the character she portrays in Ayushmanbhava but the director will be responsible for any good or bad' reactions to it from the audience!

The director P Vasu who was in Malaysia during the first press meet has expressed displeasure against Rachitha for making such a statement.

"I was in Malaysia, the first time the entire film team gathered with the press. I missed being there. However, I gathered all the information and I cannot understand why Rachitha Ram had to say something like that. How can she say something like that," P Vasu questions.

While saying that the actress has really done well and that the audience will definitely like her acting in Ayushmanbhava, the director is upset against the actress for making such a statement.

The shooting for Shivarajakumar's new film 'Kavacha' which is a remake of Malayalam hit 'Oppam' has been completed and the film is currently in the post-production stage.

Shivarajakumar and Murali starrer 'Mufti' has successfully completed 50 days across Karnataka and to mark the occasion, the fans of Shivarajakumar have decided to hold the celebrations in a grand style.

The 50 days celebrations of the film has been organised by Shivarajakumar fans. Dr Shivarajakumar Sena Samithi and Gandugali Dr Shivarajakumar Fans Association has jointly organised the function. The event will be held at Shivarajkumar's residence at Nagavara today evening 6 PM.

The event will be attended by Shivarajakumar, Murali, director Narthan, producers Jayanna and Bhogendra and the star cast and technicians of the film will be honoured during the occasion.

Shivarajakumar-Murali starrer 'Mufti' being directed by debutante Narthan is all set to be release tomorrow in 400 all over India.

One of the highlights is, the film will be releasing in Urvashi, Rex and other theaters in Bangalore. The theaters are known for other language films and now 'Mufti' will be releasing in those theaters. 

'Mufti' is being written and directed by Narthan and is being produced by Jayanna and Bhogendra under Jayanna Films banner, Ravi Basrur is in charge of the music, while Naveen of 'Kabira' fame is the cinematographer of the film. If everything had gone right, then Shivarajakumar starrer 'Muttanna' which was released in 90s was supposed to to be released once again on the 13th of October. However, the film's release got postponed due to various reasons. This is the second time the release is being postponed.

'Muttanna' is the remake of Hindi hit 'Sachcha Jhoota' starring Rajesh Khanna and Vinod Khanna in prominent roles. The film was remade in Kannada by well known director M S Rajashekhar.  The film was produced by L Somanna Gowda under Kaveri Amma Films.

Apart from Shivarajakumar, Shashikumar, Supriya, Doddanna, Bhavasri Rai and others play prominent roles in the film. The film will be released in 7.1 Dolby Digital Sound

It is Verma's friendship with them which has made him decide to screen the film for his friends in Bollywood. If everything had gone right, then 'The Villain' was supposed to release on the auspicious day of Varahamahalakshmi festival. Now the release is doubtful and the film is likely to be postponed for September.

The lengthiest film in the recent times was Darshan starrer 'Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna' and most of the films were less than two and a half hours. Now Prem has taken a huge bet by making a 2.55 hrs film.
