  • Censor Officer says Ouija is Original Kannada film - Exclusive

About the controversy over the claim by Prashant Sambargi that the film Ouija is dubbed and is releasing it in the first week of November as promised, there seems to be some ambiguity.

The Regional Censor Officer Nagendra Swamy speaking to Chitraloka said that the film Ouija was censored in Bengaluru six months ago. Any dubbed film has to be censored in the regional office where the original is censored. Thus if Ouija was dubbed from Telugu the Kannada version had to be censored in Hyderabad. Thus the Bengaluru censor office has indirectly made it clear that Ouija is not a dubbed film.
