An 101 feet poster of Dr Vishnuvardhan from the film 'Nagarahavu' was released on the 06th death anniversary of the late star at the Abhiman Studio in Bangalore. The team of 'Nagarahavu' has created Vishnuvardhan through digital head technology for the film 'Nagarahavu'. Vishnuvardhan plays a pivotal role in the film and it is being said that it will be his 201st film in his career spanning four decades. Director Kodi Ramakrishna had announced that the post which is said to be the biggest poster in the whole of India would be released during the 06th death anniversay of Dr Vishnuvardhan.

According to that the poster was released amidst much fan fare. Former Chief Minister B S Yediyoorappa, former Home Minister R Ashok, Bharathi Vishnuvardhan, Kodi Ramakrishna, Ramesh Bhatt KFCC's former president B Vijayakumar and others were present at the occasion.

Diganth-Ramya's new film which is directed by veteran Telugu director Kodi Ramakrishna has been titled as 'Nagarahavu'. The title will be officially announced within a few days from now. The Diganth-Ramya starrer film was launched almost four years back and the shooting of the film was held in Bangalore, Hyderabad and other places.

However, the film was delayed as director Kodi Ramakrishna was hospitalised. Now Kodi Ramakrishna who has recovered has decided to announce the film publicly.

Chitraloka was the first the publish the photographs of the movie.

Earlier, the film was supposed to be titled as 'Nagakanye'. However, the film has been titled as 'Nagarahavu'. This is the third time that the film is being named as 'Nagarahavu'. The first film was released in the early 70s with Vishnuvardhan playing the lead in it. After that Upendra's film which is a remake of Hindi hit 'Baazigar' was also titled as 'Nagarahavu'.

Kodi Ramakrishna Hospitalized

Pen Movies, the well known film production and distribution house which has produced 'Kahaani', 'Mahabharath', 'Lakshmi', 'Entertainment', 'P Se Pm Tak' and other films has silently forayed into Kannada film industry with Diganth-Ramya starrer 'Nagarahavu'.

Jayantilal Gada of Pen Movies is presenting 'Nagarahavu', while his son Dhaval Jayantilal Gada along with Sohail Ansari has produced the film. Though the film has been directed by well known Telugu director Kodi Ramakrishna, the film is exclusively been made only in Kannada.

Director Kodi Ramakrishna says that the film is a multi-crore project and involves a lot of graphic sequences. Another highlight is actor Vishnuvardhan has been recreated through this film.

The Kodi Ramakrishan directed film starring Ramya and Diganth is very much on and the promotions will start soon. There was no news from makers for a long time leading to confusion among fans and speculation that the film may be shelved. But after the report by Chitraloka, the producers have come on record for the first time to say that there is no delay in the film. Till now not a single photo of the film has been released. 

Sohail Ansari of Blockbuster Studio, the producers has sent a mail to Chitraloka and said, "First of all We must be thankful to you for the news of our prestigious Diganth, Ramya project.  Before start the movie itself we know it will take minimum 2 to 3 years to complete the film.

According to our planning, shooting is completed in stipulated time but, the post production work and mainly the VFX (CG) work is going on since last 2 years as the movie has lot of CG work. Because of the said reason, sofar we have not yet released any single still, promo or any press meet etc; of the said film.

For your kind information, we are planning to launch Film Title, teasers, audio release, press meet very shortly in a grand way. Simultaneously we are also planning to Grand release of the said film by end of this year.

The news like "FILM PROJECT HAS BEEN SHELVED?" is absolutely wrong which affect the business of the film.
