Vijay's debut film as a hero, 'Duniya' has completed 10 years for Thursday. The film was released on February 23rd in 2007. To mark the 10th anniversary of the cult film, producer T P Siddaraju had organised a get together.

Many members of 'Duniya' were invited for the programme and cinematographer Satya Hegade, music director V Manohar, co-producer A T Lokesh, actor Chandru, production manager Madhugiri Prakash and others were present during the occasion and shared their experiences during the making of the film.

It was a twin programme at Green House and apart from the 10th anniversary of 'Duniya', the audio release of 'Duniya 2' was held at the same place. 

The first look poster of Dhananjay in director Suri's new film 'Popcorn Monkey Tiger' has been revealed and Dhananjay is seen in a bald look in this film. Dhananjay sports a bald look with a tattoo of a Monkey on his head.

Earlier, producer K P Srikanth had walked out of the film citing personal reasons. Sudhi took over as the producer and continued the film. Suri himself has written the story and screenplay apart from directing the film. Manju Masthi who wrote the dialogues for 'Tagaru' has written the dialogues for 'Popcorn Monkey Tiger'. Charan Raj is the music director.

'Popcorn Monkey Tiger' stars Dhananjay, Nivedita alias Smitha and others in prominent roles. 40 percent of the shooting has been completed and the team will be moving to North Karnataka and North India for further portions.

Duniya Suri has developed six-packs after training for over four months. A photo shoot for his new getup was also conducted a few day sago by photographer Mahen Simmha. However Suri says this body building is personal and nothing to do with his films.

He will not be displaying it in his films or even acting in them. He is currently making Tagaru starring Shiva Rajkumar. Suri had to undergo extensive training everyday and alter his food habits to develop the stunning physique. Suri said that he did it to keep himself fit and healthy as he was finding his health suffering due to extensive shooting and staying out of home for long periods every month.

Duniya Suri returns with another cinematic excellence with an unusual title as usual. Popcorn Monkey Tiger is an amalgamation of many realistic sequences running between multiple characters while the epicenter of it is Dhananjaya as Tiger Seena.

Working on his favourite subject - rowdyism and gang wars, Suri unleashes his best after Tagaru. Since the movie is made for the adult audience, the storyline and the screenplay runs in various dimensions with separate stories which later connect the dots.

Though the texture of this movie is based on violence and realistic take on certain characters, it has a larger meaning, something which leaves the audience to ponder over after experiencing the movie.

Unlike the regular genre of underworld subject or any other film about a rowdy being the epicenter, Popcorn Monkey Tiger has equal relevance to series of characters including that of Niveditha, who makes an effortless transformation from being an ordinary poor lady to a sophisticated well-to-do person. 

The subplots of the missing baby and the two thieves running around with a bag full of money and much more are just some of the many highlights.

Technically, the movie strikes perfection for showcasing reality. The background score with jingles sets the tone. Apart from the violence, and all the emotions packed excessively takes some time to settle before the true meaningful picture starts to emerge. Undoubtedly, it is Suri's one of his best paintings on the big screen in recent times. Last but not the least Dhananjaya excels, raising the bar for himself, and the rest of the cast puts up an impressive show.

So, book your tickets and pick up that tubful of popcorn and watch Suri's latest which will certainly leave you mesmerised in the end.

Siddi Prashanth who is seen in a role in Kendasampige will play the leas in the prequel if the film (Part 1) which has been named Kaage Bangara. Some portion of the film was shot parallel to Ginimari Case. The rest if the shooting will be done in November-December and the film will be released in February 2016.

Prashant is a regular in films of Yograj Bhat. As a comedy actor he has been cast in many films. For the first time he has been cast in the leading role. Suri says four new actors are being introduced in the prequel. V Harikrishna as music composer and Satya Hegde as cinematographer will continue.

Ram Gopal Verma has offered to produce a film directed by Suri. He made the offer after watching Tagaru in the city last evening. RGV is so impressed by the film that he made the offer immediately. RGV has also signed by Manvitha Harish for a movie by paying her a token advance. He has also promised that her remuneration will be Rs 10 lakh more than whatever she demands. RGV has also praised Dhananjay who played the villain in the movie. 

RGV in a series of messages has said, "Just watched the Avant-garde vision of the extraordinary director Suri’s Kannada blockbuster Tagaru of Shiv Raj kumar  Manvitha Harish is not just an actress but she is pure electricity in her ability to shock (but pleasently) Dhananjayaka redefines menace."

He also said "After seeing Tagaru I signed Manvitha Harish by giving a token advance but with a commitment that I will pay her 10 lakhs more than whatever she will demand as her final remuneration. I also requested director Suri to do a film produced by me."

Duniya Suri's new film Tagaru starring Shivarajkumar in the title role is readying for the last round of shooting.

The film is a multistarrer with many Kannada stars being part of it. The last schedule of the film's shooting will commence on May 22. Sources said that 70% of the film's shooting is complete. Ever since its launch Tagaru is one of the most anticipated films of Sandalwood. The film takes forward the growing trend of multi starrers in the Kannada film industry.

Ace cricketer G R Vishwanath on Tuesday night released the teaser of Shivarajakumar starrer 'Tagaru' amidst much fan fare in Town Hall in Bangalore.

The teaser release function of the film was organised by Shivu Adda and Raj Dynasty along with the help of Shivarajakumar Fans Association. The event was attended by Shivarajakumar, Puneeth Rajakumar, Raghavendra Rajakumar, Allu Shirish, Rakshith Shetty and others.

'Tagaru' stars Shivarajakumar, Dhananjay, Vasishta Simha, Manvitha Harish, Bhavana Menon, Devaraj and others in prominent roles. 'Tagaru - Maiyyalla Pogaru' is being written and directed by Suri, while K P Srikanth is producing the film. Mahendra Simha is the cinematographer, while Charan Raj of 'Godhi Banna Sadharana Maikattu' is the music director.

ದುನಿಯಾ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯಾದ ದಿನವೇ ಟಗರು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ದುನಿಯಾ ಸೂರಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಥ್ರಿಲ್ಲಾಗಿಸಿದೆ. ಆ ಚಿತ್ರ ರಿಲೀಸ್ ಆಗುವವರೆಗೆ ಸೂರಿ ಯಾರೆಂಬುದು ಕನ್ನಡ ಚಿತ್ರರಂಗಕ್ಕೆ, ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರಿಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಈಗ ಅದೇ ದಿನ ರಿಲೀಸ್ ಆಗುತ್ತಿರುವ ಟಗರು ದುನಿಯಾ ಇತಿಹಾಸವನ್ನು ಮರುಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಲಿದೆ ಎಂಬ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಸೂರಿ.

ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ ಜನಸಾಮಾನ್ಯರ ಸೋಷಿಯಲ್ ಮೀಡಿಯಾ ಅಕೌಂಟುಗಳನ್ನೂ ನಕಲಿ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿ ಮಾಡಿ ಹಣ ದೋಚುವ ದಂಧೆಯೇ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಇನ್ನು ಸೆಲಬ್ರಿಟಿಗಳ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನಂತೂ ಕೇಳೋದೇ ಬೇಡ. ಈ ಅನುಭವ ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಹಲವು ಸ್ಟಾರ್ ನಟ, ನಟಿಯರಿಗೆ ಆಗಿದೆ. ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಕಲಿ ಶೂರರು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಆಟಗಳನ್ನೇ ಆಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈಗ ದುನಿಯಾ ಸೂರಿ ಸರದಿ.

ಟ್ವಿಟರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ದುನಿಯಾ ಸೂರಿ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಅಕೌಂಟ್ ಶುರುವಾಗಿದೆ. ಅವರದ್ದೇ ಫೋಟೋ.. ಅವರದ್ದೇ ಅಪ್‍ಡೇಟ್ಸ್. ವಿಚಿತ್ರವೆಂದರೆ.. ಆ ಅಕೌಂಟುದಾರ ದುನಿಯಾ ಸೂರಿ ಅಲ್ಲ. ಇನ್ಯಾವನೋ.. ಅವರ ಫೋಟೋ ಬಳಸಿ ಫೇಕ್ ಐಡಿ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ 3ರಂದು ಬ್ಯಾಡ್ ಮ್ಯಾನರ್ಸ್ ಚಿತ್ರದಿಂದ ಎರಡು ಟೀಸರ್ ಹೊರಬಿದ್ದವು. ಒಂದು ಜೂ.ರೆಬಲ್ ಸ್ಟಾರ್ ಹುಟ್ಟುಹಬ್ಬಕ್ಕೆ. ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಡಿಂಪಲ್ ಕ್ವೀನ್ ಹುಟ್ಟುಹಬ್ಬಕ್ಕೆ. ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ 3 ಈ ಇಬ್ಬರೂ ತಾರೆಯರ ಹುಟ್ಟುಹಬ್ಬ. ಇಬ್ಬರೂ ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೇ ನಟಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಚಿತ್ರ ಬ್ಯಾಡ್ ಮ್ಯಾನರ್ಸ್. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ಎರಡು ಸ್ಪೆಷಲ್ ಟೀಸರ್ ಬಂದವು.

ದುನಿಯಾ ಸೂರಿ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನದ ಬ್ಯಾಡ್ ಮ್ಯಾನರ್ಸ್ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಟೀಸರ್ ಖಡಕ್ ಫೈಟ್, ಸೂರಿ ಸ್ಟೈಲ್ ಪಂಚ್ ಮತ್ತು ಅಭಿಷೇಕ್ ಅವರ ಕಂಚಿನ ಕಂಟದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಗಮನ ಸೆಳೆದರೆ, ರಚಿತಾ ರಾಮ್ ಟೀಸರ್‍ನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಭಿಷೇಕ್ ರಚಿತಾಗೆ ಬರ್ತ್ ಡೇ ಕೇಕ್ ತಿನ್ನಿಸುವ ದೃಶ್ಯದೊಂದಿಗೇ ಗಮನ ಸೆಳೆಯಿತು. ಮಧ್ಯರಾತ್ರಿ ಹೊತ್ತಿಗೆ ರಚಿತಾ ರಾಮ್ ಮುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಹಾಕಿ ಅಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳು ಮಧ್ಯರಾತ್ರಿಯೇ ಕೇಕ್ ಕಟ್ ಮಾಡಿ ಸಂಭ್ರಮಿಸಿದರು.

ಬ್ಯಾಡ್ ಮ್ಯಾನರ್ಸ್ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಭಿಷೇಕ್ ರುದ್ರ ಎನ್ನುವ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಆಫೀಸರ್ ಪಾತ್ರ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸುಧೀರ್ ಕೆ.ಎಂ. ನಿರ್ದೇಶನದ ಚಿತ್ರ ಬ್ಯಾಡ್ ಮ್ಯಾನರ್ಸ್. ಬಹುತೇಕ ಚಿತ್ರೀಕರಣ ಮುಗಿಸಿದ್ದು ಮುಂದಿನ ವರ್ಷ ರಿಲೀಸ್ ಆಗುವ ಯೋಜನೆ ಹಾಕಿಕೊಂಡಿದೆ.

ದುನಿಯಾ ಸೂರಿ, ಈಗ ಸಕ್ಸಸ್ ಅಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತೇಲುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಬೆನ್ನು ಬೆನ್ನಿಗೆ ಹಿಟ್ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಸೂರಿ, ರೌಡಿಸಂ ಮತ್ತು ಕತ್ತಲ ಲೋಕದ ಕಥೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಫೇಮಸ್. ಭೂಗತ ಲೋಕದ ಮಾನವೀಯ ಮುಖಗಳನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮದೇ ಆದ ವಿಚಿತ್ರ ಶೈಲಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಮಾಡುವ ಸೂರಿ, ಕಾಗೆ ಬಂಗಾರ ಸಿನಿಮಾವನ್ನು ಕೈಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಕೆಂಡಸಂಪಿಗೆ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಮೊದಲ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿ ಬರಬೇಕಿದ್ದ ಕಾಗೆ ಬಂಗಾರ ಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನು ಕೈಬಿಡೋಕೆ ಕಾರಣ, ನೋಟ್‍ಬಂಧಿ. ಹಳೆಯ 500 ಹಾಗೂ 1000 ರೂ. ನೋಟುಗಳೇ ಆ ಕಥೆಯ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಈಗ ಹೊಸ ನೋಟು ಬಂದಿರುವ ಕಾರಣ, ಕಥೆಯನ್ನು ಬದಲಿಸಬೇಕಾದ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿದೆ. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ಇದನ್ನು ಕೈಬಿಟ್ಟು ಬೇರೆ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಕೈಗೆತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಸೂರಿ.

ಹಾಗೆ ಸೂರಿ ಕೈಗೆತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ 3 ಕಥೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಮಿಡಿ ಇದೆ ಅನ್ನೋದೇ ವಿಶೇಷ. ಒಂದು ಕಾಮಿಡಿ ಕಥೆ ಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಅದೇ ಚಿತ್ರ ಮೊದಲು ಸೆಟ್ಟೇರಿದರೂ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ. ಅದು ಸೂರಿಗೂ ಹೊಸತೇ. ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಕಥೆಯನ್ನು ಸೂರಿಯವರ ಮಿತ್ರ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ಉಮೇಶ್ ಬರೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರಂತೆ. ಅದು ನೈಜ ಕಥೆಯೇ ಆಗಿರಲಿದೆ ಅನ್ನೋದ್ರಲ್ಲಿ ಅನುಮಾನವಿಲ್ಲ. ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಕಥೆ ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ. ಅದನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವದು ಸುರೇಂದ್ರನಾಥ್. 

ಆದರೆ, ಕ್ರೈಂ, ರಕ್ತಸಿಕ್ತ ಕಥೆಗಳನ್ನೇ ಇದುವರೆಗೆ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಮಾಡಿರುವ ಸೂರಿ, ಕಾಮಿಡಿ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ ಹೇಗಿರುತ್ತೆ ಅನ್ನೋದೇ ಕುತೂಹಲ.

ಟಗರು ಚಿತ್ರ 100 ದಿನ ಪೂರೈಸಿ ಮುನ್ನುಗ್ಗುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗಲೇ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ಸೂರಿ, ಟಗರು 2 ಕನಸು ಬಿಚ್ಚಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಟಗರು ಚಿತ್ರದ ವೇಳೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಟಗರು 2 ಚಿತ್ರದ ಸುದ್ದಿ ಹೊರಬಿದ್ದಿದೆಯಾದರೂ, ಚಿತ್ರದ ಕಥೆಯೇ ಇನ್ನೂ ಫೈನಲ್ ಆಗಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ, ಸೂರಿ ತಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಟಗರು 2ನಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿವರಾಜ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಮತ್ತು ಪುನೀತ್ ಇಬ್ಬರನ್ನೂ ಸೇರಿಸಿದರೆ ಹೇಗೆ ಅನ್ನೋ ಐಡಿಯಾ ಬಂದಿದೆಯಂತೆ.

ನಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿ ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಒಂದು ಟಗರು ಇದೆ. ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಟಗರನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರೆ, ಖಂಡಿತಾ ಅದು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಆಗಲಿದೆ. ಸಹೋದರರಿಗೆ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಮಾಡುವಾಗ ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ತಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ಇಬ್ಬರ ಅಭಿಮಾನಿ ಬಳಗವೂ ದೊಡ್ಡದು. ಇಬ್ಬರೂ ಒಳ್ಳೆ ಡ್ಯಾನ್ಸರ್‍ಗಳು. ಇದೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ತಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ಸ್ಕ್ರಿಪ್ಟ್ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಸೂರಿ.

ಪುನೀತ ಜೊತೆ ಕೆಲವು ಬಾರಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಆದರೆ ಇನ್ನೂ ಯಾವುದೂ ಫೈನಲ್ ಆಗಿಲ್ಲ. ಕಥೆ ಇಬ್ಬರಿಗೂ ಇಷ್ಟವಾಗಬೇಕು ಎಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಸೂರಿ.  ಅಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳು ಆಗಲೇ ಗುಟುರು ಹಾಕಿ ಕಾಯ್ತಾವ್ರೆ.

ಕನ್ನಡದಲ್ಲಿ ದಾಖಲೆಯನ್ನೇ ಬರೆದ ಟಗರು ಸಿನಿಮಾ ತಮಿಳಿನತ್ತ ಹೊರಟಿದೆ. ಟಗರು ಚಿತ್ರದ ರೀಮೇಕ್ ರೈಟ್ಸ್‍ಗಳನ್ನ ತಮಿಳು ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ಮುತ್ತಯ್ಯ ಖರೀದಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕೆಲವೇ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಮಿಳಿನ ಟಗರು ಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಹೂರ್ತವೂ ನಡೆಯಲಿದೆ. ತಮಿಳಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿವಣ್ಣ ಪಾತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರ್ತಿ ಅಥವಾ ವಿಜಯ್ ಸೇತುಪತಿ ನಟಿಸುವ ಸಾಧ್ಯತೆ ಇದೆ.

ಕಡ್ಡಿಪುಡಿ, ಕೆಂಡಸಂಪಿಗೆ, ದೊಡ್ಮನೆ ಹುಡುಗ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಹಾಯಕ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾಗಿದ್ದ ಅಭಿ, ನಂತರ ಸಲಗ ಹಾಗೂ ಟಗರುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಹ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಪ್ರೀತಿಯ ಶಿಷ್ಯನಿಗೆ ಸ್ವತಃ ಸೂರಿಯೇ ಟೈಟಲ್ ಡಿಸೈನ್ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಹೊಸ ಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾಸ್ತಿ ಸಂಭಾಷಣೆ ಬರೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಚರಣ್ ರಾಜ್ ಮ್ಯೂಸಿಕ್ ಇದೆ. ಕ್ರಿಸ್ಟೋಫರ್ ಕಿಣಿ ನಿರ್ಮಾಪಕರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಡಾಲಿ ಧನಂಜಯ್ ಪಾಪ್‍ಕಾರ್ನ್ ಟೈಗರ್ ಮಂಕಿ ಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ತಲೆ ಬೋಳಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ನಿಂತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ದುನಿಯಾ ಸೂರಿ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನದ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಧನಂಜಯ್ ಅವರ ಪಾತ್ರದ ಲುಕ್ ರಿವೀಲ್ ಆಗಿದೆ. ಗಡ್ಡ, ಮೀಸೆಯಿಲ್ಲದ ಬೋಳು ತಲೆ, ಬೋಳು ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ರಕ್ತದಲ್ಲೇ ಇಂಗ್ಲಿಷ್‍ನಲ್ಲಿ  ಬರೆದಿರುವ ಮಂಕಿ, ಕಣ್ಣಿನಲ್ಲೇ ಕೆಂಡ ಕಾರುತ್ತಿರುವ ಧನಂಜಯ್ ರಗಡ್ ಆಗಿ ಕಾಣಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅಫ್‍ಕೋರ್ಸ್.. ಎಷ್ಟೆಂದರೂ ಅದು ಸೂರಿ ಸಿನಿಮಾ.

ಕೆ.ಎಂ. ಸುಧೀರ್ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣದ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿವೇದಿತಾ ನಾಯಕಿ. ಆದರೆ, ಅಚ್ಚರಿ ಅದಲ್ಲ, ಧನಂಜಯ್ ಕೈತುಂಬಾ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳು ತುಂಬಿಕೊಂಡಿವೆ. ಯುವರತ್ನ, ಪೊಗರು, ಡಾಲಿ, ಸಲಗ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳ ಚಿತ್ರೀಕರಣ ಇನ್ನೂ ಆಗಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಬದಿಗಿಟ್ಟು ಗೆಟಪ್ ಬದಲಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಡಾಲಿ ಧನಂಜಯ್.

ಪಾಪ್‍ಕಾರ್ನ್ ಮಂಕಿ ಟೈಗರ್ ಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ನಾಯಕಿಯಾಗಿ ನಿವೇದಿತಾ ಬಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಶುದ್ಧಿ ಚಿತ್ರದ ನಂತರ ತೆರೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳದ ನಿವೇದಿತಾ, ರಂಗಭೂಮಿ, ಪತ್ರಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂಕಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು. ಈಗ ಸೂರಿಯ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವಿಕಾ ಆಗಿ ನಟಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸಿನಿಮಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂವರು ನಾಯಕಿಯರಂತೆ. ಆ ಮೂರು ನಾಯಕಿಯರಲ್ಲಿ ನಿವೇದಿತಾ ಅವರದ್ದು ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪಾತ್ರ.

ಅವ್ವ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಮಿತಾ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾಗಿನಿಂದಲೂ ನಾನು ನಿವೇದಿತಾ ಅವರನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಆಕೆಗೆ ಕಂಗನಾ, ವಿದ್ಯಾಬಾಲನ್ ರೀತಿ, ಭಾವನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಲೀಸಾಗಿ ಹೊರಹೊಮ್ಮಿಸುವ ಶಕ್ತಿಯಿದೆ. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ಪಾಪ್‍ಕಾರ್ನ್ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಪಾತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಆಕೆ ಸೂಕ್ತ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಎನ್ನಿಸಿತು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಸೂರಿ.

ಕೆಲವು ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರ ಜೊತೆ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಲೇಬೇಕು ಎಂಬ ಆಸೆಯಿರುತ್ತೆ. ನಾನು ಹಾಗೆ ಆಸೆಪಟ್ಟ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಲ್ಲಿ ಸೂರಿ ಸರ್ ಒಬ್ಬರು. ಈಗ ಅವರ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಟಿಸುವ ಅವಕಾಶ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದೆ. ಪಾತ್ರದ ಎಳೆಯನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇಷ್ಟವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ನಿವೇದಿತಾ.

ಟಗರು ಚಿತ್ರದ ನಂತರ, ಈ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲೂ ಕೆ.ಪಿ.ಶ್ರೀಕಾಂತ್, ಸೂರಿ ಜೋಡಿ ಒಂದಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಸುರೇಂದ್ರನಾಥ್ ಅವರೇ ಸೂರಿಯ ಜೊತೆ ಕಥೆ ಬರೆಯೋಕೆ ಕುಳಿತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಡಾಲಿ ಧನಂಜಯ್ ಹೀರೋ ಆಗಿರುವ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಚಿತ್ರೀಕರಣ ಜೂನ್‍ನಿಂದ ಶುರುವಾಗಲಿದೆ.

ಅಂದಹಾಗೆ.. ಪಾಪ್‍ಕಾರ್ನ್ ಮಂಕಿ ಟೈಗರ್ ಅನ್ನೋ ಟೈಟಲ್ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು ದುನಿಯಾ ಸೂರಿ ಪುತ್ರ ಪೃಥ್ವಿಯಂತೆ.
