If everything had gone right, then Yash starrer 'KGF' was supposed to release this year. As the shooting of the film is not yet complete, the team of the film has postponed. Meanwhile, the teaser of the film was released on Yash's birthday today.

'KGF' is written and directed by Prashanth Neel who had earlier directed Murali starrer 'Ugram'. This is his second film as a director and the film is produced by Vijaykumar Kiragandur, who had earlier produced 'Rajakumara', 'Ninnindale' and 'Master Piece'. 

The film has music by Ravi Basrur and camerawork is by Bhuvan Gowda.

For the first time in the history of Sandalwood a Kannada film will be releasing in US and Canada a day early than its release in Karnataka. Earlier Puneeth Rajkumar's Chakravyuha became the first Kannada film to have an overseas premier before an India release. It was released in Australia one day before it released in Karnataka. KGF will not only release in Kannada but also in Tamil,

Telugu and Malayalam on December 20 in the US and Canada. This will be a big weekend release for the film which will be competing with Shah Rukh Khan's Zero in those markets.

Rocking Star fans will now have to wait till December 21 to witness the release of one of the most expected movie of the year - KGF. The makers of KGF on Wednesday announced that KGF will hit the screens in two chapters, and the first one will be releasing on December 21 worldwide instead of November 16.

Inspired by the trend set by S S Rajamouli's Bahubali series, the KGF's director Prashanth Neel says that KGF starring Rocking Star Yash, Srinidhi Shetty, the actress who makes her debut, and Achyuth Kumar, Malavika along with scores of other newcomers is being made in two chapters. The shoot for the second chapter is half complete, and it will be released in 2019, he adds.

The director also says that he being a great fan of Amitabh Bachchan movies, it helped him create something like KGF.

“Initially there was no plans of making KGF in two chapters, but as the journey continued and the inspiration of Bahubali made us rethink over making it in two chapters. An action thriller, KGF is high on mother's sentiment. It is an universal subject, and hence it is being released in five languages. While Kannada being the original, it will be dubbed in Hindi, Telugu,Tamil and Malayalam,” says the director.

Yash lauded his team's efforts, saying that it was a memorable journey for him to be part of a story which is set in the 1970s, shot in KGF, parts of Mysuru and regions of northern Karnataka. He has shot for over 137 days for the film.

On delay over release, the makers revealed that few leading Bollywood distributors requested to postpone the release to facilitate them to release worldwide on a big scale.

“It has a great content with mother's sentiment involved in it. An audience can watch the movie by even turning off the volume, as the story is very much appealing. The rerecording is being done in Germany, for an enhanced experience,” Yash says.

The final schedule of Yash starrer 'KGF - Chapter 2' starts from today in Mangalore. The team has already flown to Mangalore, after which shooting will continue in Bangalore, Hyderabad and other places.

The team intends to wrap up the remaining portions in another 20 days, after which the team will work towards the promotion and release. Yash, Sanjay Dutt, Srinidhi Shetty and others will be participating in this final schedule.

Recently, the team had shot in specially erected sets in Minerva Mills in Bangalore, where Prakash Rai, Malavika Avinash and others participated in the shooting.

Actress Shanvi Srivatsav who made it big with Omprakash Rao's 'Chandralekha' has signed yet another film and this time the actress has been selected to play the female lead in Yash starrer 'Master Piece'.

Yes, with the release of 'Mr and Mrs Ramachari', the work for 'Master Piece' is in full progress and director Manju Mandavya is busy finalising the cast and crew of the film. The latest to join the bandwagon of artistes who are acting in the film are Sanvi, Suhasini and Atul Kulkarni. Yash's new film Masterpiece has created a huge record at the box office. It has collected Rs 6 crore gross in ticket sales on the first day of release on Thursday. Trade sources including the distributors say that this is the biggest collection figures for any Kannada film.

On the first day of release there were more than 1,400 shows of the film across Karnataka. Approximately seven lakh tickets were sold for the first day, initial estimates show. Yash-Radhika Pandith starrer 'Mr and Mrs Ramachari' which was released in the last week of December 2014 has successfully completed 100 day run at Santhosh and other theaters. Friday will be the 100th day of the film.

'Mr and Mrs Ramachari' is Yash's fourth consecutive film which has successfully completed 100 days. Before this Yash starrer 'Gajakesari', 'Rajahuli' and 'Googly' had completed 100 days and had made Yash the Hatrick Hero with three consecutive hits. 'Mr and Mrs Ramachari' is an addition to the list.

As 'Mr and Mrs Ramachari' has completed 100 days, the film will be making way for Puneeth starrer 'Ranavikrama' next week in Santhosh and other theaters.

Yash has denied rumors running around in the last two days that the Baahubali director SS Rajamouli has contacted him and offered him a role in his new film. Rajamouli started shooting for his new film starring Junior NTR and Ramcharan just two days ago.

ಮೊದಲ ಬಾರಿಗೆ ಕೆಜಿಎಫ್`ನವರು ಹಠಕ್ಕೆ ಬಿದ್ದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಪಾಠ ಕಲಿಸೋ ಸಮಯ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಬಂತಾ? ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ಸದ್ಯಕ್ಕಂತೂ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮಲ್ಟಿಪ್ಲೆಕ್ಸ್‍ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪಿವಿಆರ್, ಐನಾಕ್ಸ್‍ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ಬುಕ್ಕಿಂಗ್ ಆಗುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ಬದಲಿಗೆ ಸಿಂಗಲ್ ಸ್ಕ್ರೀನ್‍ಗಳ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯನ್ನೇ  ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ

1100 ಕೋಟಿ. ಇದು ಆರ್.ಆರ್.ಆರ್. ಚಿತ್ರದ ದಾಖಲೆ ಕಲೆಕ್ಷನ್. ಕೊರೊನಾ ಮುಗಿದ ನಂತರ ಚೇತರಿಕೆ ಕಾಣದೆ ತತ್ತರಿಸಿದ್ದ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಚಿತ್ರರಂಗಕ್ಕೆ ಆಕ್ಸಿಜನ್ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು ಆರ್.ಆರ್.ಆರ್. ಈಗ ಅದನ್ನೂ ಮೀರಿ ಸಂಚಲನ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿ ಬಿರುಗಾಳಿ ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿ ಮುನ್ನುಗ್ಗುತ್ತಿರೋದು ಕೆಜಿಎಫ್ ಚಾಪ್ಟರ್ 2. ಕೆಜಿಎಫ್ ಬಾಕ್ಸಾಫೀಸ್ ಕಲೆಕ್ಷನ್ ಈಗ 800 ಕೋಟಿ ದಾಟಿದೆ. ಈ ವಾರಾಂತ್ಯದ ಒಳಗೆ ಆರ್.ಆರ್.ಆರ್.ನ್ನು ಮೀರಿಸಿ ಮುನ್ನುಗ್ಗಿದರೂ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ.

ಹಿಂದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಆರ್.ಆರ್.ಆರ್. ದಾಖಲೆ ಹಿಂದಿಕ್ಕಿದೆ ಕೆಜಿಎಫ್. ಆರ್.ಆರ್.ಆರ್. ಹಿಂದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ 250 ಕೋಟಿಯ ಗಡಿ ದಾಟಿದ್ದು ರಿಲೀಸ್ ಆದ 23ನೇ ದಿನಕ್ಕೆ. ಆದರೆ ಕೆಜಿಎಫ್ ಅದನ್ನು ಮೊದಲ ವಾರದ ಕೊನೆಯ ಹೊತ್ತಿಗೆ ದಾಟಿಯಾಗಿತ್ತು.

ಅತ್ತ ತಮಿಳುನಾಡು ಹಾಗೂ ಕೇರಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿನ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಕಲೆಕ್ಷನ್ ಮಾಡಿರುವುದೂ ಕೆಜಿಎಫ್ ಸಾಧನೆಯೇ. ತಮಿಳುನಾಡಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ತಮಿಳಿನ ವಿಜಯ್ ಅಭಿನಯದ ಬೀಸ್ಟ್ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಗಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನೂ ಮೀರಿಸಿ ದಾಖಲೆ ಬರೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ ಕೆಜಿಎಫ್.

ಇದೆಲ್ಲದರ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ಕೆಜಿಎಫ್‍ನ್ನು ಕನ್ನಡದಲ್ಲಿ ನೋಡಿದವರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಗಿಂತ ತೆಲುಗಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನೋಡಿದವರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯೇ ಹೆಚ್ಚು. ಒಂದು ಲೆಕ್ಕಾಚಾರದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಕನ್ನಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಜಿಎಫ್ ನೋಡಿದವರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ 40 ಲಕ್ಷವಾದರೆ, ತೆಲುಗಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಆಂಧ್ರ ಮತ್ತು ತೆಲಂಗಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದವರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ 50 ಲಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು.

ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾರಾಟವಾದ ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ 1.5 ಕೋಟಿಯಾದರೆ, ಉತ್ತರ ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇಲ್ ಆದ ಕೆಜಿಎಫ್ ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ 1.7 ಕೋಟಿಗೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು. ಇದು ಮೊದಲ ವಾರದ ರಿಪೋರ್ಟ್ ಮಾತ್ರ.

ಭಾರತೀಯ ಚಿತ್ರರಂಗದ ಎರಡು ಬ್ಲಾಕ್ ಬಸ್ಟರ್ ಸಿನಿಮಾಗಳು ಎರಡು ವಾರಗಳ ಅಂತರದಲ್ಲಿ ರಿಲೀಸ್ ಆದವು. ಮೊದಲು ರಿಲೀಸ್ ಆಗಿದ್ದು ರಾಜಮೌಳಿಯ ಆರ್.ಆರ್.ಆರ್. ರಾಮ್ ಚರಣ್ ತೇಜ, ಎನ್‍ಟಿಆರ್, ಅಜಯ್ ದೇವಗನ್, ಅಲಿಯಾ ಭಟ್ ನಟಿಸಿದ್ದ ಸಿನಿಮಾ 1100 ಕೋಟಿ ಬಿಸಿನೆಸ್ ಮಾಡಿತ್ತು.

ಅದಾದ ನಂತರ ಬಂದಿದ್ದು ಕೆಜಿಎಫ್ ಚಾಪ್ಟರ್ 2. ಪ್ರಶಾಂತ್ ನೀಲ್ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನದ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಈಗ ಆರ್.ಆರ್.ಆರ್.ನ್ನೂ ಮೀರಿಸಿದೆ. ಯಶ್, ಶ್ರೀನಿಧಿ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ, ಸಂಜಯ್ ದತ್, ರವೀನಾ ಟಂಡನ್ ನಟಿಸಿದ್ದ ಕೆಜಿಎಫ್ 2 ಆರಂಭದಿಂದಲೂ ನಾಗಾಲೋಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಓಡುತ್ತಿದೆ. 3ನೇ ವಾರದ ನಂತರ ಕೂಡಾ ಹಿಂದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ರಿಲೀಸ್ ಆದ ಹೊಸ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಕಲೆಕ್ಷನ್  ಮಾಡಿದೆ ಕೆಜಿಎಫ್ ಚಾಪ್ಟರ್ 2.

ಈ ಹಾದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಲವು ಚಿತ್ರಗಳ ದಾಖಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಧೂಳೀಫಟ ಮಾಡಿರುವ ಕೆಜಿಎಫ್ ಚಾಪ್ಟರ್ 2, ಈಗ ಆರ್.ಆರ್.ಆರ್. ದಾಖಲೆಯನ್ನೂ ಹಿಂದಿಕ್ಕಿದೆ. 1000 ಕೋಟಿ ದಾಟಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಹೊಂಬಾಳೆ ಅಧಿಕೃತ ಪಡಿಸಿದ ಬೆನ್ನಲ್ಲೇ 1100 ಕೋಟಿಯನ್ನೂ ದಾಟಿ ಹೋಗಿದೆ ಕೆಜಿಎಫ್ 2. ಈದ್  ದಿನ ಕೂಡಾ ಬಾಕ್ಸಾಫೀಸ್‍ನಲ್ಲಿ ತೂಫಾನ್ ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿರುವ ಕೆಜಿಎಫ್ ಚಾಪ್ಟರ್ 2, ಈಗ ಇಂಡಿಯಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಅತೀ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಬಿಸಿನೆಸ್ ಮಾಡಿದ ನಂ.2 ಸಿನಿಮಾ.

ಮೊದಲನೇ ಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿರೋದು ಬಾಹುಬಲಿ 2. ಇನ್ನು ದಂಗಲ್ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಅತೀ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಕಲೆಕ್ಷನ್ ಆಗಿದ್ದು ಚೀನಾದಲ್ಲಾದ್ದರಿಂದ.. ಈ ಲಿಸ್ಟ್‍ನಲ್ಲಿಲ್ಲ ಅಷ್ಟೆ. ಈಗ ಕೆಜಿಎಫ್ 2, 4ನೇ ವಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾಲಿಟ್ಟಿದೆ.
