Shivarajakumar starrer 'Tagaru' which was released on the 23rd of February, has completed 100 day run at the box-office. The film has completed 100 days in Santhosh and other theaters across Karnataka.

To mark the occasion, Shivarajakumar fans had organised a celebration at the Santhosh theater in Bangalore on Sunday. Shivarajakumar, Manvita Harish, Dhananjay and director Suri and others were present at the celebrations.

'Tagaru' stars Shivarajakumar, Dhananjay, Vasishta Simha, Manvitha Harish, Bhavana Menon, Devaraj and others in prominent roles. 'Tagaru - Maiyyalla Pogaru' is written and directed by Suri, while K P Srikanth is the producer.

The post-production of 'Tarakasura' is in full progress and the first song of the film is all set to be released on the 03rd of September.

One of the highlights of the song is, actor Shivarajakumar has sung it. The song which is called as 'Kannada Kaliyo' is an introduction song of the hero.

'Tarakasura' is written and directed by Chandrashekhar Bandiappa who had earlier directed 'Rathavara'. Dharma Vish is the music director, while Kumar Gowda is the cinematographer of this film. Narasimhulu is launching his son Vaibhav as a hero. Manvitha Harish is the heroine. British actor Danny Sapani and Sadhu Kokila plays a prominent role in the film.

Off late, many film teams are organising many contests to woo the audience. Recently, the 'Vascodagama' team had organised 'Selfie with Super Guru' contest to attract the audience. Now it's the turn of 'Kendasampige' being directed by Soori.

The contest is called 'Hoovie' contest and according to that the viewers are asked to take a selfie with flowers. The viewers are asked to send their Hoovies to the face book account of the film. The best among such Hoovies will be given free tickets to the film.

'Kendasampige' is all set to be released on the 11th of September in Movieland and other theaters across Karnataka.

Manvitha the new Sandalwood star who is basking in the success of her debut film Kendasampige has become the victim of impersonation on Facebook. Manvitha has a popular and active Facebook account but after the success of the film some unknown person has created a fake profile impersonating her and creating confusion.

Manvitha has warned her friends about it. She is not the first actress to fall prey to cyber impersonation.

Recently Kriti Karbhanda filed a complaint after a fake account in her name was created. Sumalatha Ambareesh faced problems after her email account was hacked.

'Kendasampige' directed by Suri has silently completed a 100 day run and the team has decided to celebrate the success of the film. Soori has organised a special event on Sunday evening to mark the success.

'Kendasampige' starring Vicky and Manvitha was released in September and the film was not only appreciated by the audience but also many celebrities including Shivarajakumar, Ramgopal Verma and Yash appreciated Soori and the team's efforts in making a different film.

P C Shekhar had announced that he will be directing a film for Prajwal Devaraj a few months ago. However, the film has been postponed due to various reasons and now the director is all set to direct a new film with newcomer Nakul and Manvitha Harish in lead roles.

P C Shekhar's new film is a romantic thriller set in Bangalore and Mandya. Manvitha plays a bold village girl who doesn't hesitate to fight against the evil forces. The team is currently working on her looks and it will be revealed soon.

The new untitled film is being produced by S R Venkatesh Gowda under Naada Kiran Pictures. Arjun Janya is the music composer, while Shakti Shekar is the cinematographer. 

The film is all set to go on floors in the second week of August. 

Actress Manvitha Harish has been paired opposite Ajay Rao in his new film called 'Rainbow -  Colours of Crime'.

As the title itself suggests, the film is a crime thriller. Guru Deshpande has penned the story along with S Rajavardhan. Joe George and Jadesh Kumar have joined Guru Deshpande and the director in the screenplay front.  

The film is being produced by Guru Deshpande under his G Cinemas banner. S Rajavardhan makes his debut as a director. Emil is the music director. The shooting for the film will commence soon.

Manvitha Harish seems to be having a ball in the shooting of Tagaru. The 'Gini Mari' of Kendasampige fame is the leading lady of the film starring Shivarajkumar.

Director Suri is shooting a promo of the film that will be released on September 23. The promo will be tagged with Puneeth's film Dodmange Hudga.In the photos shared by Manvitha she can be seen dancing to the beats of desi drums. The high octane dance will be part of the film according to sources and not be confined to the promo. The film has a huge star cast and brings back the combination of Shivanna and Suri.

Actor Puneeth Rajakumar attended the 'Kendasampige' 100 days celebrations and handed over the trophies to the team members. The 100 days celebrations of the film was organised at the Television Club in Bangalore. Puneeth Rajakumar, 'Duniya' Vijay, Yogaraj Bhatt and Rangayana Raghu were present at the occasion and handed over the trophies to the artistes and technicians who have worked for the film. Director Suri's mother Parimala handed over the trophy to Suri and the director said it was a memorable event for him.

As promised earlier, the team of 'Kendasampige' handed over the cheques to the families of farmers.

Actor Dhananjaya has been given a new look in the film Tagaru. He has had to cut his hair short after having long locks in his almost all his films including the recent Jessie and Boxer and Raathe. Suri said it was necessary for the character to have that look and despite Dhananjay's trademark long hair style he made him get the new look.

The first promo of the film Tagaru starring Shivarajkumar, Manvitha Harish, Dhananjaya and others will be released on September 23. The plan is to release the promo along with the film Dodmane Huduga which is expected to release on September 23.

Both the films are directed by Duniya Suri. Suri is currently shooting the promo with different actors. It will feature many of the actors who are playing major roles in the film and not just Shivanna. Suri says the promo shooting will also act as a test shoot for the film as just taking still photographs will not be of much help in determining how a character will feel in a film. 

Ace cricketer G R Vishwanath on Tuesday night released the teaser of Shivarajakumar starrer 'Tagaru' amidst much fan fare in Town Hall in Bangalore.

The teaser release function of the film was organised by Shivu Adda and Raj Dynasty along with the help of Shivarajakumar Fans Association. The event was attended by Shivarajakumar, Puneeth Rajakumar, Raghavendra Rajakumar, Allu Shirish, Rakshith Shetty and others.

Shivarajakumar starrer 'Tagaru' which was released on the 23rd of February, has completed 125 day run at the box-office. The fans of Shivarajakumar had organised a celebration at the Santhosh theater in Bangalore recently. Now producer K P Srikanth had also organised a function and felicitated the artistes and technicians of the film.

The 100 Days celebration function was held at the White Petals in Palace Grounds on Saturday. Ambarish, Upendra, Puneeth Rajakumar, Vinay Rajakumar, Member of Parliament D K Suresh, Rockline Venkatesh and others were present at the occasion as chief guests and felicitated the artistes and technicians who have worked for the film.

If there is any movie in the recent past which brilliantly focuses on the tribal fortune-tellers from the buda budake community, then it has to be Chandrasekhar Bandiyappa's Tarakasura.

A tale webbed around the effects of age old tribal skills in various aspects including the negative part of it makes this unique experiment, a worth watch. One will also get a sneak peek into their life, customs and traditions, which are rarely showcased in movies packed with all the commercial masalas in it.

The making of it reflects the honest efforts of the technical team and mainly the protagonist portrayed by Vaibhav, who is seen in multiple shades, is a clear winner. His raw acting and real action sequences is another plus point for the Tarakasura.

Carbon alias Karthik, who plays the protagonist is the base of this decent entertainer. With the skills he possesses as a fortune-teller, he faces several hurdles, and how he overcomes all of them is the crux of the movie.

Though the buda budake skills and the ill effects of it when misused is the epicentre, this is not entirely about them or else it would have easily become a documentary. The versatile Sadhu Kokila who has a larger presence will certainly tickle the bones of the audience with his impeccable comedy timing. Even Manvitha Kamath impresses again in a short and effective role.

The background music along with the able support cast portrayed by M K Mata and Kari Subbu deliver justice to their roles. The highlight is of course the Hollywood actor Danny Safani who has given his best performance .

It took two years for Tarakasura to finally hit the silver screen, and it was for a special reason, says the makers. The team reveals that the delay was mainly due to the meticulous preparation which got into the shaping up of the main character portrayed by Vaibhav in the film.

The director of the film Chandrashekar Bandiyappa says that the male protagonist has three different shades in the film, ranging from being a 16-year-old teenagaer, to a matured bearded man to a stylish looking macho man. Hence, the delay in doing justice to characterizations to keep it real, he adds.

Also, the state film award winning actor M K Mata, who portrays a support role in the film too has five different shades and make overs to his role. The actor shares that he lived like a real beggar to portray the role of a beggar during the shooting and even earned Rs. 48 from begging!.

The tale of Tarakasura revolves around the ‘bud buduke’ tribes who predict the future of a person, and the extreme consequences of misusing the ancient skills for bad reasons. The film is being released in at least 200 screens across the state through Kanakapura Srinivas's distribution house.

The Kendasampige heroine Manvitha Kamath who is basking upon the success of Tagaru will be seen as a female lead in Tarakasura.

Nagatihalli Chandrashekhar has completed the shooting of his latest film and is busy with the post-production work. Meanwhile, the title of the film is all set to be revealed on Saturday in London.

Nagatihalli is planning to reveal the title during the first song launch of the film in London. The event is scheduled during the Karnataka Samskrithi Siri programme held at Fltham in London on July 13th. Nagatihalli will be releasing a song called 'Kannada Kali' composed by Arjun Janya. The song is composed by Mattur Nandakumar and Supriya Lohith has composed the music.
