The first schedule of Ajay Rao starrer 'Krishna Rukku' being produced by Uday Mehta and directed by Anil Kumar has been completed in Chickmagalur and other places.  The film was launched last month and the team had headed for Chickmagalur and other places for the first schedule. After 23 days of shooting the team has completed the first schedule and is back in Bangalore.

The second schedule of the film is likely to start soon in Bangalore. Sridhar Sambhram has composed the songs for the film.

Distribution rights of the Ajay Rao and Amulya starrer film Krishna-Rukku has been sold out weeks before its release. Producer Uday K Mehta is a happy man as he has been able to sell the movie in all the seven distribution areas of Karnataka and there is still two weeks for the film's release.

The film is directed by Anil Kumar and has music by Sridhar V Sambhram and cinematography by Jagadish Wali. It is scheduled for release on February 26.

The audio of the film has already made a mark after its release and the five songs are sung by Puneeth Rajkumar, Sonu Nigam, Karthik, Shreya Ghoshal, Shwetha Prabhu, Anuradha Bhat, Sangeetha and Shashank Sheshagiri.

It is a good sign for Krishna-Rukku that it has got the backing of distributors which is the first sign that the industry is betting that the film will be a hit. The film team meanwhile has plunged headlong into promoting the film.

The shooting for the film was started in the month of August and the team completed the first schedule in Chickmagalur and other places. After that the team completed the second schedule in and around Bangalore. Now the last leg of the film is nearing completion.

The film's launch was a low key affair with only the team members present at the muhurath. Ajay Rao, Amulya, director Anil, producer Uday Mehta were seen at the occasion.

Looks like the name Krishna has become a synonym for success and whichever the films which had the name including 'Krishna-Leela', 'Krishnan Love Story' and others has been successful in the past. The latest to join the bandwagon is Ajay Rao and Amulya starrer 'Krishna-Rukku'.

'Krishna-Rukku' was released in the last week of February and is running to packed houses. The film is a remake of Telugu hit 'Uyyala Jampala' and is directed by Anil and produced by Uday Mehta. Sridhar Sambhram has composed the music for the film.

Krishna Rukku Movie Review

Ajay Rao and Amuyla starrer 'Krishna-Rukku' which is being produced by Uday Mehta and directed by Anil of 'Dilwala' fame is all set to be launched on the 19th of August. Before that the photo shoot of the film was held in Bangalore on Sunday.

Earlier, the film was titled as 'Mava I Love You' with a sub-title of 'Krishna-Rukku Story'. Now the team has decided to change the title and according to that the new title is 'Krisha-Rukku' with a sub-title of 'Made for Each Other'.
