Well known music composer S S Thaman has been roped in as the music composer for Puneeth Rajakumar's new film 'Yuvaratna' being directed by Santhosh Anandaram. This is Puneeth and Thaman's third collaboration after 'Power' and 'Chakravyuha'. 

Earlier, it was being said that V Harikrishna might compose the songs for the film as Harikrishna had composed music for Santhosh Anandaram's 'Mr and Mrs Ramachari' and 'Rajakumara'. However, Thaman has replaced V Harikrishna. Apart from 'Power' and 'Chakravyuha', Thaman has also composed music for 'Jaguar', 'Zoom' and 'Orange'.

'Yuvaratna' is scripted and directed by Santhosh Anandaram and produced by Vijay Kiragandoor under Hombale Films. Sayesh Sehgal is the heroine. Prakash Rai,  Dhananjay, John Kokken and others play prominent roles in the film.

In spite of actor in many films, one actor who was noticed with any title was actor Chiranjeevi Sarja. Now Chiru has got a title called 'Yuva Samrat' from fans. This time it is not his fans but the fans of late Dr Vishnuvardhan.

During the audio release of Chiru's latest film 'Yuva Samrat' directed by Guru Deshpande, the title 'Yuva Samrat' was given to Chiru by Dr Vishnuvardhan's fans. The award was conferred in front of Dr Vishnuvardhan's potrait and Jnanapeeth Award Winner Dr Girish Karnad who introduced Dr Vishnuvardhan to Kannada cinema throug 'Vamshavriksha' was also present during the occasion.

Chiranjeevi Sarja who was overwhelmed by the title, thanked Dr Vishnuvardhan's fans for conferring him the title of 'Yuva Samrat'.
