Versatile actress Lakshmi is all set to share her experiences in the new edition of 'Belli Hejje' organised by the Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy. The 'Belli Hejje' programme is organised at the Gandhi Bhavan on 07th August at 5 PM.

The programme will be moderated by senior journalists Jogi and Sadashiva Shenoy and actor Puneeth Rajakumar, Information Ministry director N R Vishukumar, KFCC president Sa Ra Govindu, director Bhagavan, actor Jaijagadish and KCA president S V Rajendra Singh Babu and others will be present at the occasion

Starting this month itself the monthly Belli Hejje programme organised by the Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy will be held in the native district of the guest. Every month a senior film personality participates in the programme and recollect their cinema journey. On July 29, the Belli Hejje programme with TS Nagabharana as the guest will be held in Mysuru.

Incidentally it was Nagabharana as the first chairman of the Academy who started the Belli Hejje programme. Next month Belli Hejje will be held in Shivamogga with Girish Kasaravalli as the guest.

The 'Belli Hejje' programme which was supposed to be held today at Mysore has been postponed due to mourning in memory of late president Dr A P J Abdul Kalam. The highlight of this 'Belli Hejje' was veteran director-actor T S Nagabharana. It was he who started the programme of 'Belli Hejje' when he was the president of the Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy.Now T S Nagabharana was supposed to come as the 51st guest of the famous programme.

However, the programme has been postponed due to national mourning and the further date is yet to be announced in the coming days.

Well known actor H G Dattatreya who is fondly known as Dattanna amongst all is all set to share his experiences at the 'Belli Hejje' organised by the Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy on Friday (July 27th) evening.

Dattanna is a most sought after supporting actor in the Kannada film industry and the actor acted in more than 200 films spanning three decades. Well known directors T S Nagabharana, P Sheshadri, KFCC president S A Chinnegowda and others will be present at the occasion. 

The 'Belli Hejje' programme is organised at the Mahadeva Desai Auditorium in Gandhi Bhavan on 27th of July at evening 5 PM.

Senior actor Dattanna will be the guest of the month at the Belli Hejje programme organised by the Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy. The popular event showcases the film career of veteran Kannada film personalities in their own words and in interactive sessions with the audience.

This month's programme is scheduled for July 27 at the Gandhi Bhavan. Dattanna has thrice been named a special jury winner for best actor at the National Awards. He is one of the most versatile actors in Kannada who won his first state award for his very first film Aspotha in 1988. His acting career came late in life after decades in the Indian Air Force.

Film Historian and former president of Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce, M Bhakthavatsala is all set to share his experiences in 'Belli Hejje' organised by the Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy.

Apart from sharing experiences, a book called 'Gopi Circle' authored by M Bhakthavatsala is all set to be released by Chiranjeevi Singh. The programme will be attended by Information Ministry director N R Vishukumar, KFCC president Sa Ra Govindu, KCA president S V Rajendra Singh Babu and others.

The 'Belli Hejje' programme is organised at the Gandhi Bhavan on 17th September August at 5 PM.

Well known director Padmashri Girish Kasaravalli is all set to be the guest at the 54th Belli Hejje being conducted by the Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy. The programme is being held on 21st of December at the Gandhi Bhavan at 5'o clock in the evening.

The chat session with the veteran director will be conducted by director P Sheshadri and journalist C H Raghuranth. KFCC president Sa Ra Govindu, Information Ministry director N R Vishukumar, KANFIDA chief M S Ramesh and others are expected to attend the event.

Actor Shivarajakumar said he has fulfilled his wife's wishes by letting her contest for the elections. Shivarajakumar was talking during the 'Belli Hejje' programme organised by the Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy at Ravindra Kalakshetra in Bangalore.

When a fan of Shivarajakumar asked whether it was necessary for Geetha Shivarajkumar to contest and lose in the elections, Shivarajkumar said though he doesn't like politics, he has fulfilled his wife's wishes. 'My father didn't want politics. I also doesn't like politics. But as an husband I have fulfilled my wife's wishes and that is enough for me' said Shivarajakumar.

When one among the audience told that Shivarajakumar must get a Padmashri award for his contribution to the Kannada film industry, 'I don't want any awards. The claps of the audience is a big reward for me' said Shivarajakumar.

When asked about his opinion about the implementation of the Kalasa-Banduri project, 'It's not enough if the film industry join hands in the protest. Everybody must come and fight for the issue irrespective of caste and creed. Mainly the politicians must join hands for the fight irrespective of their parties' said Shivarajakumar.

Well known film producer, distributor and exhibitor K C N Chandrashekhar shared his experiences in 'Belli Hejje' organised by the Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy at the Mahadeva Desai Auditorium in Gandhi Bhavan on Monday.

K C N Chandru said that many producers are losing films because of not planning things. 'In those days, we never used to decide about the budget earlier. We used to do films for the sake of doing good films. That's why we used to win. But now, in spite of proper planning the budget, the producer is losing' said K C N Chandrashekhar.

Well known producer, pro-Kannada activist and Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce president Sa Ra Govindu turned emotional during his speech at the 'Belli Hejje' programme organised by the Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy in K R Nagar.

Sa Ra Govindu participated in the programme and talked about his experiences in the Kannada film industry as well as the president of the Karnataka Dr Rajakumar's Fans Association.

Munirathna told a incident on Sa Ra Govind. When he asked about why he didn't marry after his wife died, Govindu got emotional and said that his son was a small child when his wife died and he didn't want to disturb his son by bringing a step-mother for him.

The 'Belli Hejje' programme was attended by many dignitaries of the Kannada film industry. The past presidents, current executive committee members as well as many producers including K V Chandrashekhar, Dr Jayamala, Thomas D'souza, Dinesh Gandhi, M G Ramamurthy, K C N Kumar, KFPA president Muniratna, Jedarahalli Krishnappa, Dinesh Gandhi, Umesh Banakar, S V Babu, K M Veeresh and others were present at the occasion. Actor Shivarajakumar who is looking forward for the release of his two films 'Shivalinga' and 'Killing Veerappan' has been roped in to be the guest of the 'Belli Hejje' the most ambitious programme of Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy.

The programme this month has been organised at the Ravindra Kalakshetra on November 30th at 5 PM. Shivarajakumar will be sharing his experiences about his personal as well as professional life. He will be answering the questions posed by the audience.

The programme will be attended by Information Minister Roshan Baig, Parvathamma Rajakumar and others.

Well known writer and director Nagatihalli Chandrashekhar Chandrashekhar is all set to share his experiences in 'Belli Hejje' organised by the Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy.

Nagatihalli Chandrashekhar who was a lecturer by profession came to Kannada film industry as a writer. He wrote dialogues for 'Ushakirana', 'Udbhava' and other films. He went on to become director with 'Undu Hoda Kondoo Hoda' and directed films like 'America America', 'Parish Pranaya', 'Nanna Preethiya Hudugi', 'Mathad Mathadu Mallige', 'Olave Jeevana Lekkachara' and others.
