It has been nine years since rebel star Ambareesh's ‘kuchiku’ friend had passed away. A legendary actor late Dr. Vishnuvardhan, and one of the three strong pillars of Kannada film industry along with thespian late Dr. Rajkumar and late Dr. Ambareesh, is still waiting for a memorial as assured by the state government!

With the state government acting swiftly in the case of rebel star Ambareesh by allocating a piece of land in Kanteerava Studio, for a memorial to be built in his honour, the fans of Dr. Vishnuvardhan have started to express dissatisfaction against the state government and its authorities for dilly dallying with regard to the memorial of their favourite star, the sahasa simha Dr. Vishnuvardhan.

Further, after son-in-law of Dr. Vishnuvardhan, Anirudh Jatkar has expressed dissatisfaction urging chief minister to stop such careless attitude in the matter, the Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy has reacted to it saying that such a statement was uncalled for and that it was him who had personally called the then CM Mr. B S Yeddyurappa to make arrangements honouring the legendary actor though the Vishnu family were ready for last rites to be performed in Banashankari crematorium.

Following the reaction to his statement by the Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy, Anirudh says, “I have nothing personal against Mr. Kumaraswamy or any his family members. In fact, I have the highest of regard for him especially for his close association with Appaji. My statement is out of displeasure against the functioning of the state government for the last nine years which has seen five chief ministers.”

He goes on to add that till date, five chief minister have been approached and in turn five different places were allocated by them with an assurance to build a memorial and an institution. “All have ended in litigation. Now, a new proposal is being floated over the memorial in Kanteerava Studio. We have spent over two years on the last location in Mysuru. We have even dug a borewell after having the right vaastu plan to go ahead with the project. But, the farmers are agitating now. It is a gomala land, and the state can solve it within a day. We have been patient, but for how long?” asks Anirudh.

He also clarifies that he and Amma, Mrs. Bharathi Vishnuvardhan have been running from pillar to post meeting all the concerned including the Chief Ministers. “Yes, I agree it was Mr. Kumaraswamy who personally called to inform that the departed soul will be honoured properly while we were all set to conduct the last rites in Banashankari crematorium. But how long should we wait. We once waited for him (Mr. Kumaraswamy) for hours at his office. He never got back to us after that. I have been calling his office but there has been no response. We stand firm urging the state to act fast and clear the hurdles at Mysuru, where not just the memorial with statue will be built but an institution will come up which will benefit the industry through the trust which will be headed by the head of the state government,” he explains as he wraps up.

Actor Aniruddh who is currently busy acting in a new film called 'Raja Simha' is all set to make his small screen debut with the second season of popular reality show 'Dancing Star'. Aniruddh is one among the 12 contestants who are participating in the show. Apart from Aniruddh, Master Anand, Mythrea Gowda, Harshika Poonachcha, Chandrika, Rapid Rashmi, singer Sinchan Deekshith and others are contesting in this show.

Last time, director Guruprasad and Yogi were the judges of the show. This time actor-producer-distributor V Ravichandran will be participating in the show as one of the judges.

The shooting for the programme will start from the 29th of this month and the reality programme is likely to be aired in the month of February.

A hot song featuring Sanjana and Aniruddh was shot recently for 'Raja Simha'. The song has been composed by Jessie Gift, while Tribhuvan has choreographed the song.

'Raja Simha' is being produced by C D Basappa while, Ravi Ram is the director. Jessie Gift has composed the music for the film, while K M Vishnuvardhan is the cameraman. 'Raja Simha' stars Aniruddh, Nikitha Thukral, Bharathi Vishnuvardhan, Sharath Lohitashwa, Bullet Prakash, Arun Sagar, Pavan, Vijay Chendur and others.

Actress Nikitha Thukral has been selected as the heroine for Aniruddh in a new film called 'Raja Simha' which is all set to go on floors in the month of February. Earlier, 'Raja Simha' was announced with Aniruddh in lead role and the search for the heroine was on. Now Nikitha Thukral has been said to given her consent for acting in the film opposite Aniruddh. Apart from Aniruddh and Nikitha, Dr Bharathi Vishnuvardhan, Bullet Prakash and others are likely to play prominent roles in the film.

Debutante Raja is directing the film apart from scripting it. Jessie Gift is the music director.

Aniruddh's latest film 'Raja Simha' is all set to release on Friday (February 02nd). Meanwhile, the team has organised a grand procession before the release of the film.

The procession which is called as 'Raja Simhana Rathayatre' will start from Ananda Rao Circle on Friday morning at 8.30 AM. The procession will end at the Anupama theater. Dr Vishnuvardhan's statute which plays a prominent role in the film, will be taken in the procession. Thousands of Dr Vishnuvardhan's fans are expected to be a part of this procession.

Raja Simha is a tribute to the late Vishnuvardhan. The film is a sort of continuation of Vishnuvardhan's hit film Simhadriya Simha. There is a special treat awaiting the fans of Vishnuvardhan as the actor "returns" in all glory in a special scene.  The film starts on a comedy track with Raja Simha Anirudh playing the role of a mechanic.

His has an ordinary life with a small romance in the background. Fate takes him to Simhadri. His mother is shocked with him going to that place. Flashback reveals how the character of Narasimhe Gowda played by Vishnuvrdhan in Simhadriya Simha is related to this story. 

The betrayal from a family relative is revealed. What is the connection between Raja Simha and Narasimhe Gowda? Why is his mother afraid of him going to Simhadri? All these questions are answerd in an entertaining way in the film directed by Ravi Ram. In able form is Anirudh who mesmerises in comedy and romantic scenes and stuns you in the action scenes. There is a lot of scenes in which Anirudh reminds audience of Vishnuvardhan in his mannerisms and dialogue delivery. It is a treat to watch. 

Anirudh has able company in the form of Nikitha, Sanjannaa Galrani in the romantic and comedy scenes. In the emotional scenes he gets to share screen with Bharati Vishnuvardhan. Ambareesh is also present in a guest role but an important character in the film. 

The director's biggest success is linking the film to Simhadriya Simha. It is very convincingly done. That gives the film a big boost. Jessie Gift has come up with some very good music for Raja Simha which will remain for quite sometime. This is a kind of film you would have expected Vishnuvardhan to do. That is one more reason for his fans to watch it. Anirudh has returned to screen in style and this could just be the turning point of his career.

Noted Kannada film producer and former president of Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce (KFCC), Sa Ra Govindu has come down heavily upon Anirudh, actor and son-in-law of late Dr. Vishnuvardhan for his careless remarks against Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy with regard to the pending memorial since nine years for Sahasa Simha.

Following reports over proposal to build a memorial in honouring the legendary actor Vishnuvardhan in Kanteerava Studio alongside two other legends - Dr. Rajkumar and Dr. Ambareesh, the three main pillars of Kannada film industry, Anirudh had expressed anguish and had reportedly asked Chief Minister to stop such careless attitude in the matter.

While such remarks against a Chief Minister has evoked strong opposition from many, Sa Ra Govindu while strongly objecting to it has taken Anirudh to task for such irresponsible behaviour. “Any such proposal to build the memorial of Dr. Vishnuvardhan in Kanteerava Studio would be in a positive manner, and to honour all the three legends in one common place, and is never an attempt to dishonour any of them. Such remarks against a chief minister is uncalled for,” said Mr. Govindu.

He further asks Anirudh to apologise forthwith to the Chief Minister, and to the citizens Karnataka whom Mr. Kumaraswamy represents. He adds that such irresponsible remarks demeans the position of a Chief Minister.

ಜೊತೆ ಜೊತೆಯಲಿ ಧಾರಾವಾಹಿಯಿಂದ ಅನಿರುದ್ಧ್ ಜತ್ಕರ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದ ನಂತರ ಆ ಪಾತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಯಾರು ಎಂಬ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ಅಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಾಡುತ್ತಿರೋದು ನಿಜ. ಆ ಪಾತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಹಲವು ಹೆಸರುಗಳು ಕೇಳಿಬಂದವಾದರೂ ದೊಡ್ಡಮಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಸದ್ದು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು ರಂಗಿತರಂಗ, ವಿಕ್ರಾಂತ್ ರೋಣ ಖ್ಯಾತಿಯ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ಅನೂಪ್ ಭಂಡಾರಿ ಅವರ ಹೆಸರು.

ಜೊತೆ ಜೊತೆಯಲಿ ಚಿತ್ರೀಕರಣ ನಿಂತಿಲ್ಲ. ಆರ್ಯವರ್ಧನ್ ಪಾತ್ರವನ್ನು ಹೊರಗಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡೇ ಕೆಲವು ಎಪಿಸೋಡ್ ಶೂಟ್ ಆಗುತ್ತಿವೆ. ಚಿತ್ರೀಕರಣವಂತೂಊ ಎಡಬಿಡದೆ ಸಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ನಡುವೆಯೇ ಅನೂಪ್ ಭಂಡಾರಿ ತಮಗೆ ಆರ್ಯವರ್ಧನ್ ಪಾತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಆಫರ್ ಬಂದಿದ್ದು ನಿಜ ಎಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಆಫರ್ ಬಂದಿದ್ದು ನಿಜ. ನಾನು ನೋ ಎಂದಿದ್ದೂ ನಿಜ. ಸದ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ನಾನು ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಚಿತ್ರದ ಕೆಲಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಬ್ಯುಸಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಶೀಘ್ರದಲ್ಲೇ ಆ ಹೊಸ ಪ್ರಾಜೆಕ್ಟ್ ಅನೌನ್ಸ್ ಆಗಲಿದೆ ಎಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಅನೂಪ್.

ಅತ್ತ ಅನಿರುದ್ಧ್ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟಿರಬಹುದು, ನಾನು ಬಿಟ್ಟಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವರು ಕರೆದರೆ ಮತ್ತೆ ಹೋಗಲು ಸಿದ್ಧ ಎಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಅನಿರುದ್ಧ್.

ಇದರ ನಡುವೆ ಆರ್ಯವರ್ಧನ್ ಪಾತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ವಿಜಯ್ ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ, ಜೆಕೆ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಹಲವರ ಹೆಸರು ಚರ್ಚೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಿರುವುದಂತೂ ಸತ್ಯ. ಆದರೆ ಧಾರಾವಾಹಿ ತಂಡದವರು ಯಾವುದೇ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಎಸ್ ಎಂದೂ ಹೇಳ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ನೋ ಎಂದೂ ಹೇಳ್ತಿಲ್ಲ.

ವಿಷ್ಣುವರ್ಧನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಅಂಬರೀಷ್ ಚಿತ್ರರಂಗಕ್ಕೆ ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೇ ಬಂದವರು. ಅಂಬರೀಷ್ ಖಳನ ಪಾತ್ರಗಳಿಂದ ಆರಂಭಿಸಿ ರೆಬಲ್‍ಸ್ಟಾರ್ ಆದರೆ, ವಿಷ್ಣುವರ್ಧನ್ ಸಾಹಸ ಸಿಂಹನಾಗಿ ಮೆರೆದರು. ವಿಶೇಷವೆಂದರೆ ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಿಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಅಂಬರೀಷ್ ಮತ್ತು ವಿಷ್ಣು ಜೀವದ ಗೆಳೆಯರು. ಅದು ಗುಟ್ಟಾಗಿಯೇನೂ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಪರಸ್ಪರರ ಏಳಿಗೆಗೆ ನೆರವಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದ, ಸಂಕಟಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಜೊತೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಇಬ್ಬರೂ ಅದೆಷ್ಟೋ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೇ ನಟಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. 

ಅದರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ದಿಗ್ಗಜರು ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಷ್ಣು ಮತ್ತು ಅಂಬಿಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದವರು, ಅವರನ್ನು ಪಾತ್ರಗಳಾಗಿ ನೋಡಿರಲೇ ಇಲ್ಲ ಎನ್ನುವುದರಲ್ಲೇ ಕುಚಿಕು ಗೆಳೆಯರ ಶ್ರೇಯಸ್ಸಿದೆ. ಈಗ ಅವರಿಬ್ಬರೂ ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೇ, ಒಂದೇ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಟಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. 

ಹೇಗೆ ಅಂತಾ ಗೊಂದಲ ಬೇಡ. ರಾಜಸಿಂಹ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಷ್ಣುವರ್ಧನ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಗ್ರಾಫಿಕ್ಸ್‍ನಲ್ಲಿ ಮರುಸೃಷ್ಟಿ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಅದೇ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂಬರೀಷ್ ಕೂಡಾ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪಾತ್ರವೊಂದರಲ್ಲಿ ನಟಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ವಿಷ್ಣು ಪತ್ನಿಯಾಗಿ ನಟಿಸಿರುವುದು ಭಾರತಿ. ವಿಷ್ಣು, ಸಿಂಹಾದ್ರಿಯ ಸಿಂಹನ ನರಸಿಂಹ ಗೌಡನಾಗಿ ಬರಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕುಚ್ಚಿಕು ಗೆಳೆಯರ ಪುನರ್‍ಮಿಲನವನ್ನು ಕಣ್ತುಂಬಿಕೊಳ್ಳೋಕೆ ಅಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳೂ ಕಾಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಸಿಂಹಾದ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಂಹಾದ್ರಿಯ ಸಿಂಹ ನರಸಿಂಹ ಗೌಡನ ಮರಣಾನಂತರ ಆ ಊರು ಏನಾಗುತ್ತೆ..? ಅದನ್ನು ಸರಿಪಡಿಸಲು ಆತನ ಮಗ ಅನಿರುದ್ಧ ಏನು ಮಾಡ್ತಾನೆ ಅನ್ನೋದು ಚಿತ್ರದ ಕಥೆ. ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಷ್ಣುವರ್ಧನ್ ಮಗನ ಪಾತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಟಿಸಿರುವುದು ಅನಿರುದ್ಧ. ತಾಯಿಯ ಪಾತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತಿ ನಟಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಚಿತ್ರಮಂದಿರಕ್ಕೆ ಬರಲು ಕೆಲವು ಗಂಟೆಗಳಷ್ಟೇ ಬಾಕಿ.
