ಅರ್ಜುನ್ ಸರ್ಜಾ : 1964ರ ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 15ರಂದು ಜನಿಸಿರುವ ಆರ್ಜುನ್ ಸರ್ಜಾಗೆ ಇವತ್ತು 56ನೇ ಹುಟ್ಟುಹಬ್ಬ.

ನಾಗತಿಹಳ್ಳಿ ಚಂದ್ರಶೇಖರ್ : 1958ರ ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 15ರಂದು ನಾಗತಿಹಳ್ಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜನಿಸಿದ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ನಾಗತಿಹಳ್ಳಿ ಚಂದ್ರಶೇಖರ್ ಅವರು ಇವತ್ತು 62ನೇ ಹುಟ್ಟುಹಬ್ಬ ಆಚರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಸಂತೋಷ್ ಆನಂದರಾಮ್ : ಮಿ. & ಮಿಸೆಸ್ ರಾಮಾಚಾರಿ, ರಾಮಾಚಾರಿ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳ ಸ್ಟಾರ್ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ಸಂತೋಷ್ ಆನಂದರಾಮ್ ಅವರಿಗೂ ಇವತ್ತು ಹುಟ್ಟುಹಬ್ಬ. 1985ರ ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 15ರಂದು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ಸಂತೋಷ್‍ಗೆ ಇವತ್ತು 35ನೇ ಹುಟ್ಟುಹಬ್ಬದ ಸಂಭ್ರಮ.

ಭಾರತಿ ವಿಷ್ಣುವರ್ಧನ್ : ಕನ್ನಡ ಚಿತ್ರರಂಗದ ಹಿರಿಯ ನಟಿ ಭಾರತಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ 70ನೇ ಹುಟ್ಟುಹಬ್ಬದ ಸಂಭ್ರಮ. 1950ರ ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 15ರಂದು ಜನಿಸಿದ್ದರು ಭಾರತಿ.

ಸುಹಾಸಿನಿ : ಕನ್ನಡ ಚಿತ್ರರಸಿಕರ ಪಾಲಿನ ಅಮೃತವರ್ಷಿಣಿ ಸುಹಾಸಿನಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಇವತ್ತು 59ನೇ ಹುಟ್ಟುಹಬ್ಬದ ಸಂಭ್ರಮ. 1961ರ ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 15, ಸುಹಾಸಿನಿ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ದಿನ.

ಈ ಎಲ್ಲರ ಜೊತೆಗಿನ ಹುಟ್ಟುಹಬ್ಬದ ಸಂಭ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಒಂದೇ ಒಂದು ದಿನ ಮೊದಲು ಮಿಸ್ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡವರು ನಟಿ ಸುಧಾರಾಣಿ. ಸುಧಾರಾಣಿ ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 14ರಂದು ಜನಿಸಿದವರು. ನಿನ್ನೆಯಷ್ಟೇ ಸುಧಾರಾಣಿ 50ನೇ ವರ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾಲಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

The Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce office bearers and executive committee members celebrated the Independence Day in Bangalore on Wednesday morning. The KFCC had organised the Independence Day celebration and president S A Chinnegowda and Prof Doddarange Gowda hoisted the National Flag at the KFCC premises.

National Award Winning movie Hebbet Ramakka director Nanjundegowda and Producer Puttaraju were honored at KFCC.

KFCC secretary Ba Ma Harish, Shilpa Srinivas, Vice President K Manju, treasurer K M Veeresh and others were present at the occasion.

On this day, 33 years ago, noted Indian filmmaker and writer Nagathihalli Chandrashekar happily lost his 'independence' by entering into wedlock with his better half Shobha.

The national award winning filmmaker's unique invitation was much talked-about back then. It reads: We are happily losing our 'Independence' on the Independence Day, the 15 August 1986 by wedlock at conference Hall, State Youth Centre, Nrupathunga Road.
