This time we are having a fresh new pair Nithya Menon being played Super star Sudeep's leading lady in the Kotigobba sequel.  High budget movie Kotigobba sequel is being produced by under Soorappa Babu production house.

The film crew already has built luxurious set in Kanteerava studio Bengaluru specially for actor Sudeep's scenes.  Under leading Director K.S.Ravikumar's direction the film has big thing planned.

The shooting is starting in Kanteerava studio with the complete cast and crew from 18th. Sudeep and Nithya Menon will be acting together for the first time.

After much search actress Nitya Menon has been roped in as the heroine for Sudeep starrer 'Kotigobba' being produced by Soorappa Babu and directed by K S Ravikumar. 'Kotigobba' was launched on June 12th this year.

However, the shooting for the film was not started as the team could not finalise a heroine for Sudeep. There were rumours that Kajal Agarwal, Samantha, Shamili and others were considered for the role. However, none among the three gave a nod to act in the film. Finally the makers have zeroed in Nitya Menon for the heroine's role.

The shooting for the film is likely to start in the second week of August and the shooting will be held in Bangalore, Chennai and other places.

Superstar Rajinikanth will be watching Sudeep's new film Kotigobba 2 on Wednesday in Chennai. The film team is preparing a special show for him sources said but it is not clear if he will watch the Kannada version or the Tamil version which is called Mudinja Ivana Pudi.Both the films released on Friday. Ace director Ram Gopal Verma seems to have watched Sudeep starrer 'Kotigobba 2'. The director who has directed Sudeep in films like 'Phoonk', 'Rann' and 'Raktha Charithra' is in full awe of Sudeep's performance and has tweeted in favour of Sudeep.

The clash of two big Kannada films; Kotigobba 2 and Dodmane Hudga, at the box office is not going to happen. Both the films were to release for the Varamahalakshmi festival in the second week of August. Dodmane Hudga was announced for this date and also Kotigobba 2 was slated for the festival release.

It would have been a huge day for Sandalwood with two big stars clashing for box office stakes at the same time. However the clash is off now. Suri, the director of Dodmane Hudga confirmed that it will not be possible to release the film on August 12 as a lot of post production work is pending. Some portions involving Ambareesh have to be completed which will take a few more weeks.

Actor Sudeep has thanked Anand Audio for releasing the songs of 'Kotigobba 2' composed by music composer D Imaan. The songs of the film was released on Saturday online. In this regard, Sudeep has thanked Anand Audio for associating with his films by tweeting.

The confusion regarding Sudeep's new film being produced by Soorappa Babu has finally come to an end with the film being titled as 'Kotigobba 2' officially. Earlier, there were rumours that the film might be titled as 'Kotigobba'. There was also news that the film might be titled as 'Kotigobba 2'. However, the shooting for the film completed without the film being titled officially.

Now producer Babu along with Sudeep has finalised the title and the film will be called 'Kotigobba 2'. The film which is being directed by K S Ravikumar is almost complete except for two songs and the song shooting for the film will resume from April 25.

ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ಶೂಟಿಂಗ್ ಆರಂಭಿಸಿರುವ ಚಿತ್ರತಂಡ, ಸುದೀಪ್ ಅವರಿಲ್ಲದೇ ಇರುವ ದೃಶ್ಯಗಳ ಶೂಟಿಂಗ್ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಅಂದಹಾಗೆ ಕೋಟಿಗೊಬ್ಬ-3 ಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಹೀರೋಯಿನ್ ಇನ್ನೂ ಅಂತಿಮವಾಗಿಲ್ಲ.

ಕಿಚ್ಚ ಸುದೀಪ್ ಹಾಗೂ ನಿತ್ಯಾ ಮೆನನ್ ಅಭಿನಯದ ಕೋಟಿಗೊಬ್ಬ-2 ಚಿತ್ರ, ಕನ್ನಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೂಪರ್ ಹಿಟ್ ಆಗಿತ್ತು. ಬಾಕ್ಸಾಫೀಸ್‍ನಲ್ಲೂ ದಾಖಲೆ ಬರೆದಿತ್ತು. ಈಗ ಅದೇ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ತೆಲುಗಿಗೆ ಕೋಟಿಕೊಕ್ಕುಡು ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ರಿಲೀಸ್ ಆಗಿದೆ. ತೆಲುಗಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಥಿಯೇಟರ್‍ನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳನ್ನು ಆಕರ್ಷಿಸಿರುವ ಕೋಟಿಕೊಕ್ಕುಡು ಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನು ಖ್ಯಾತ ನಿರ್ಮಾಪಕ ಬಿಎ ರಾಜು ವಿತರಣೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
