Puneeth Rajakumar on Saturday evening released the songs of 'Madarangi' Krishna's new film 'Mumbai' being produced by Ramu.

The audio release event was held at the Renukamba Preview Theater in Malleshwaram and many celebrities including Puneeth Rajakumar, Malasri, Krishna, Teju, Chaswa, music composer Sridhar Sambhram and others were present at the occasion. 

'Mumbai' is being directed by Ramesh of S R Brothers fame, who earlier scripted 'AK 47' and directed films like 'Nanjundi' and 'PUC'. Now Ramesh himself has written the story and screenplay apart from directing the film.

The songs of Sharan starrer 'Nataraja Service' has already been released and the songs, particularly 'Allah Allah' has become huge hits. Meanwhile, the cds of the film were officially released by Puneeth Rajakumar on Thursday in Chamundeshwari Studio.

In an informal gathering at the Chamundeshwari Studio, the songs of the film were released officially by Puneeth Rajakumar. Sharan, director Pavan Wodeyar, producer Rajakumar, Anup Seelin and others were present at the occasion.

The songs of 'Natarja Service' has been composed by Anup Seelin and is released under his JP Music banner.

Actor Puneeth Rajakumar recently released the songs of T N Seetharam's new film 'Coffee Thota' composed by Anup Seelin and Mithun Mukundan.

Puneeth Rajakumar said he got a call from T N Seetharam recently to invite for the audio release. 'I immediately said yes because I wanted to be a part of this function' said Puneeth Rajakumar.

'Coffee Thota' stars Raghu Mukherjee, Radhika Chethan, Samyuktha Hornad, B C Patil, Achyuth Kumar, Sudha Belawadi, Sundarraj, Hanumanthegowda and others in prominent roles. Ashoky Kashyap is the cameraman of the film. The film is being produced under the Manvanthara Chitra banner.

Puneeth Rajakumar on Saturday night released the songs of a new film called 'Srivalli' in Bangalore. Apart from Puneeth distributor Gokul Raj, producers Uday Mehta, Kanakapura Srikanth, N S Rajakumar and others were present at the occasion.

'Srivalli' is a bilingual film being made simultaneously in Kannada and Telugu. Well known writer V Vijayendra Prasad of 'Bahubali' and 'Bhajarangi Bhaijan' fame has written the story and screenplay apart from directing this film. Vijayendra Prasad is introducing Rajat and Neha in this erotic scientific thriller.

Earlier, actor Shivarajakumar had released the teaser of the film. Now Puneeth has released the songs composed by M M Srilekha.

Dwarkish's 50th film 'Chauka' has another attraction to it. After Darshan acting in a cameo in the film, now it's the turn of Puneeth Rajakumar to make his presence in the film. Puneeth has sung a song for the film on Wednesday.

It's been nearly 40 years since the Dr Rajakumar's family associated with Dwarkish's family. The last time Dr Rajakumar's family association was when he acted in 'Bhagyavantharu' 40 years back. After that the two families never worked together. Now after a 40 year gap, Dr Rajakumar's son Puneeth has sung for the film which is produced by Dwarkish's son Yogish.

'Chauka' is almost completed except for some little production work and the film is likely to release this month end or in February. 'Chauka' is a multi starrer film with Prem, Prajwal, Diganth and Vijay Raghavendra playing prominent roles in the film. Aindritha Ray and Deepa Sannidhi, Priyamani and Bhavana Menon are playing the female leads. Tarun Sudhir brother of actor-director Nandakishore is all set to be make his debut as a director through this film. Five music directors, five cameramen and five dialogue writers have worked for the film.

Actor Puneeth Rajkumar is all set to release the songs of 'Sa' on Saturday evening at the Town Hall in Bangalore. Not only Puneeth Rajakumar, actors Ajay Rao, Yogi, Ragini, Gurunandan, 'Madarangi' Krishna, Chethan Chandra and others are also participating in this function.

'Sa' stars JK, Vijay Surya, Hemanth Hegade, Samyuktha Belavadi and others in prominent roles. Veer Samarth is the music director while Suresh Byrasandra is the cameraman. Hemanth Hegade is the director.

Sandalwood's Power Star Puneeth Rajkumar and the youngest son of Kannada thespian late Dr. Rajkumar, has contributed Rs 50 Lakh as donation to Chief Minister's Relief Fund to combat the corona pandemic.

The actor met Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa at his residence in Dollars Colony, handing over the cheque to him for the cause. Deputy Chief Minister Ashwath Narayan was also present on the occasion.

"We all should follow the directions of the State Government in these difficult times. It might not be easy for all to stay locked down inside the house but there is no other way but to maintain social distance, which is the only way to fight Coronavirus. I humbly request every citizen to maintain social distance and to adhere to every directions of the State Government," said Mr. Puneeth Rajkumar.

Puneeth Rajkumar who is producing meaningful new age films like Kavaludaari and Mayabazar through his production house PRK Productions, is planning to make two children's films next.

Speaking to journalists who visited him a few days ago, the actor revealed that he has set his mind on children's films. He said that he was impressed by Sarkari Hiriya Pratamika Shaale. This film was not like other children's films and was made like just any other film. He recalled that as a child he acted in some children's films like Bettada Hoovu and others which are still appreciated today. He wants to make such films for the current audience.

"We have to make films that people come to theatre to watch. Making films for any other reason does not work," he said hinting that awards and subsidy should not be the reasons to make children's films. Puneeth Rajkumar is currently listening to scripts and stories for the two children's films he has planned.

Power Star Puneeth Rajkumar, who is fondly referred to as 'Appu’, has revealed that during the early 80s when he was around five years old, he had accompanied his legendary father Dr. Rajkumar to AVM studio where the greatest legendary actor from Telugu film industry N.T. Rama Rao was shooting for a movie as a race car driver.

He further recollects saying that when he saw the race car, he had asked his father, to get him one such race car.

“I guess I was around 5 or 6 years old when the incident occurred. After the shoot at the studio, I came back to home with my father, and to my surprise NTR sir who came to know about my desire, had actually sent the race car to our house. However, we couldn't keep it and sent it back,” Puneeth Rajkumar shared during the press meet regarding the release of NTR Kathanayakudu, the first of the two part biopic movie on one of the greatest legend in Indian cinema and even as a politician.

He also recollected the cordial and special relationship of NTR sir, and his family.

Whereas, Nandamuri Balakrishna who has produced the biopic along with portraying his legendary father in the movie, which releases on January 9, wishes to see the sons of Kannada Kanteerava Dr. Rajkumar to portray the role of Kannada thespian in his biopic on the silver screen.

The second part of the biopic NTR-Mahanayakadu is scheduled for release on February 9. Bollywood actress Vidya Balan plays the role of NTR's wife in both the parts.

After the launch of his new production company called PRK Productions, Puneeth Rajkumar is all set to launch  new music company. The company will release film albums. The first music album from this company will be from the film Anjani Putra. Plans are afoot to launch the Music Album in the first week of November.

The Rajkumar family has many singers including Rajkumar Raghavendra Rajkumar, Shivanna and Puneeth. But this is the first time they are venturing into a music label business. Anjaniputra is directed by Harsha and has music by Ravi Basrur.

Shivarajakumar is celebrating his birthday today. Meanwhile, many fans of his have released songs as a tribute to the actor who has turned 58 today.

One such song called 'Luck Luck Luck Luckpathi, Karunadige Ivane Adhipathi...' was released by actor Puneeth Rajakumar on Saturday evening. The song which is called 'Shiva@58' is available on Youtube.

'Shiva@58' is jointly produced by Varun Kumar and Kirik Keerthi. Gummineni Vijay has composed the music, while Aniruddha Shastry has sung the song. 'Bhajarangi' Mohan has written the lyrics for the song.

Puneeth Rajakumar on Friday evening released the songs of Chikkanna starrer 'Bhootayyana Mommaga Ayyu' at the Chamudeshwari Studio in Bangalore.

Veteran actor Honnavalli Krishna was felicitated during the occasion by Puneeth Rajakumar. This is Krishna's 1000th film as an actor. Veteran actor Umesh, KFCC vice president Umesh Banakar and others were present at the occasion.

'Bhootayyana Mommaga Ayyu' is a comic film with lot of comedy actors including Sadhu Kokila, Chikkanna, Umesh, Mandeep Roy, Rockline Sudhakar, Honnavalli Krishna and others. Director Nagaraj Peenya who had earlier directed 'Padhe Padhe' and 'Namak Haram' has directed the film.

Actor Puneeth Rajakumar recently released the trailer of Satish Neenasam's new film 'Chambal' at the Chamundeshwari Studios in Bangalore. Satish, Sonu Gowda, director Jacob Verghese and others were present during the occasion.

The trailer of 'Chambal' has got good response from all over in the past few days. The film tells the story of an IAS officer who fights against corruption. The film is said to have close resemblances with the life and work of late IAS officer D K Ravi.

'Chambal' is being written and directed by Jacob Verghese who earlier directed 'Savari' and 'Prithvi'. This is his fourth film as a director. Apart from Satish, Kishore, Roger Narayan, Sonu, Sardar Satya and others play prominent roles in the film. 

The trailer of Raghavendra Rajakumar's new film 'Trayambakam' was released by actor Puneeth Rajakumar in Bangalore. Actor-director Shivamani and others were present at the occasion.

'Trayambakam' which means Third Eye was launched last year. The film is being written and directed by Dayal Padmanabhan. Avinash Shetty is the co-producer of the film.

Apart from Raghavendra Rajakumar, RJ Rohith and Anupama Gowda have portrayed prominent roles in the film. Ganesh Narayan has composed the music.

Ganesh starrer 'Geetha' which in the post-production is likely to release in the month of September. Meanwhile, Puneeth Rajkumar has sung a song for the film on Wednesday in Bangalore.

Puneeth sang a song called 'Kannada Kannada Kannadave Satya' written by Santhosha Anandaram and composed by Anup Rubens. Ganesh who was present at the occasion thanked Puneeth for his gesture.

'Geetha' is directed by Santhosh Anandaram's protege Vijay Nagendra. The film is produced by Shilpa Ganesh along with Syed Salam. Film stars Ganesh, Sanvi Srivatsava, Sudharani and others in prominent roles. Srisha Kudavalli is the cinematographer.

Just a day after singing a song for Ganesh starrer 'Geetha', actor Puneeth Rajakumar sang a song for 'Nenapirali' Prem's 25th film 'Premam Poojyam' the very next day.

Puneeth has sung a song for 'Premam Poojyam' under the music direction of Raghavendra. Prem says the song is about Dr Rajkumar and this is the first time that Puneeth has sung a song about his father for any film. The song recording was done recently and Prem was overwhelmed by Puneeth's gesture.

Raghavendra apart from composing the music has scripted and directed the film also. Rakshith Kedambadi and Rajkumar Janakiraman who are doctors by profession are producing the film. Naveen Kumar is the cinematographer.

Rishi's new film 'Sarvajanikarige Suvarnavakasha' is complete and the film is in the post production stage. Meanwhile, actor Puneeth has sung a song for the film recently.

This is Puneeth's fourth song in the recent times. The actor had sung songs for Ganesh's 'Geetha', Prem's 'Premam Poojyam' and Anish's 'Ramarjuna' in the last 15 days. Now Puneeth has sung a song for Rishi's 'Sarvajanikarige Suvarnavakasha'.

'Sarvajanikarige Suvarnakasha' is produced by 'Gultoo' producer Prashanth Reddy and director Janardhan Chikkanna along with Devaraj R. The film is directed by debutante Anoop Ramaswamy Kashyap. Mithun Mukandan is the music director. The film stars Rishi, Dattanna, Shalini, Rangayana Raghu and others in prominent roles.

Actor Puneeth Rajakumar has sung a prominent song for Sharan starrer Nataraja Service under the music composition of Anup Seelin. Nataraja Service is being written and directed by Pavan Wodeyar, while N S Rajakumar is the producer of the film. Mayuri, Yatiraj and others play prominent roles in the film. Arul K Somasundaram is the cinematographer.

The post-production of the film is almost over and Pavan plans to release the songs of the film in the month of August.
