The exclusive mega portal for Kannada cinema 'CHITRALOKA' has surpassed six valuable years. Today – 26th June we are celebrating the 7th birthday of the mega portal. We cherish a lot of good memories in our journey. I salute my father late K.S. Mallappa the founder of Chitraloka mega portal. The award instituted by Chitraloka in its founder name was given to senior still photographer Narayanaswamy of Bhavani studios, Doddaballapura in a glittering Sri Raghavendra Chitravani function recently. Last year it was given to G.S. Narayanaswamy.
Sincerity and hard work has given us good results. In the last six years nearly 100 Kannada film websites have been designed by Chitraloka mega portal. The 100th mark is stylish director P.Indrajith Lankesh personal website.
With some of the limitations we are trying hard to forge ahead. We believe in the statement 'He who Does not HOPE to win has Already Lost'. There has been extremely good response from the surfers all over the world. The demand to know more about Kannada filmdom is increasing from surfers.
From the day we started on June 26th 2000 our hits on the day of launch was 13,665. Today Chitraloka has more than 3 lakh hits per day. Even from the rural Karnataka, people are sending messages congratulating Chitraloka on the quick dissemination of news and views related to Kannada filmdom.
Our seventh year birth day resolution is to upload two times a day. Pertaining to Kannada cinema one in the morning and another one in the evening we have plans to provide. This is in addition to the some urgent development news that deserves quick transmission.
We are starting another service to Kannada filmdom. That is talent search. Interested to work in any capacity we would like to introduce them in our website. The photo feature of budding talents and their profile would be accommodated in a separate section.
