If sources are to be believed then veteran director Bhagawan is all likely to be selected as the new chief of the awards committee for the year 2010-11. The High Court of Karnataka had recently stayed the awards as it was surrounded by controversies and had asked the government to form a new committee with one month.
With a few days left for the completion of the given time, it is being said that the Information Ministry has asked veteran director Bhagawan to head the committee.
Speaking to Chitraloka Bhagwan said many are calling and enquiring regarding this. But till now I have not received any confirmation from the department nor they have contacted me’
