Actor-director-producer-music composer and popular as the Crazy Star; V Ravichandran will be given the Rajyothsava award on Monday. His name was included in the last minute, a day after the official list was announced on Saturday. Ravichandran said that he got a call in this regard but he did not believe it but a confirmation was sent to him.

The list of more than 160 people was announced on Saturday and in what could be a mild insult to the showman of the Kannada film industry; his name has been included as an afterthought.
