Savi
Savi Nenapu produced by S.V.Babu and directed by young
Santhosh Kumar Paathaaje has some effective fragrance
and likeable freshness attached to it that you would relish
watching it. Yes, the film is soft and a little slows
in narration. But the slow narration matches the story
content which certainly a new thought by the director.
Santhosh Pathaaje
has taken the element of heart transplantation weaved as a soft
love story which could go well with the enlightened audience. In
a way it can be slotted as a class film.
Prem passionately
loves his classmate Preethi and they get married. But
destiny plays cruel in their life and Prem loses Preethi.
Preethi's heart is transplanted to Pallavi who is also
facing marital problems. Prem does not want Preethi’s
heart to suffer and plans a course where Pallavi becomes
happy. What happens later is best watched on the screen.
Prem looks good in both the roles he has played in the film. Mallika
Kapoor looks glamorous Kannada girl Tejaswini proves her talent
in her first film. The performances of Srinaath, Thulasi Shivamani
and other artist’s passes muster.
