Ramu Enterprises presentation Sagar directed by M.D.Sridhar and starring Prajwal, Radhika Pandit, Hari Priya  and Dev Gill in lead roles has started off well for a medium budget film.  Surprisingly the film has opened well in relatively smaller centres, while it is very good in Bengaluru, Mysore, Hubli, Davanagere, Chitradurga and other centres. Since the trade is only hero centric, the analysts are telling that the film's  opening is the best for any Prajwal Devaraj film whose Bhadra was also released in major centres.  While Bhadra had lot of comedy and action elements it lacked the required glamour quotient.
But  Sagar has good action and song content, while the glamour side has the current sensation Radhika Pandit and  Hari Priya doing their roles perfectly.
The film has obtained very good opening for  any Prajwal Devaraj film mainly because of the reputation of  producer Ramu, director Sridhar and the presence of  Radhika Pandit in the film' says  a well known distributor who says it is a combination which has worked.
While Triveni, Veeresha had three shows full and the other theatres get a decent opeining in Bengaluru, the Mysor theatres have recorded good collections for a film starring Prajwal. Surprisingly the film has been collecting well in in B. centres like Ramnagar, Turuvekere and some other centres in Mysore distribution area like K.R.Nagar, Chamarajanagar.  Even in 'Shimoga and Chickmagalur area the film has opened well, though the collections can not be compared to Davanagere and Chitradurga.  .
After Bhadra  this is another film which has given a big boost to Prajwal's career.  Looks like both N.Kumar and Ramu have done wonders to Prajwal's career not forgetting  M.D.Sridhar's competent direction and the presence of  Radhika Pandit and Dev Gill in 'Sagar'.
