Bhageerathi Completes Fifty Days

Dr. Baragooru Ramachandrappa's film Bhageerathi based on a folk story Kerege Haara has completed fifty days of its run in a few centres.
The film is produced by B.K. Srinivas better known as Benkoshri and has Kishor, Bhavana and Tara Anuradha in the lead.  Benkoshri says that the film cannot be classified as an art film as it has a powerful folk story which has been dealt with very well.  He said that he has found success in a film which can be described as out of Box off beat film. He told a press meet organised on Tuesday afternoon that he has been hugely encouraged by the film's response in theatres.
Dr Srinath, Hema Chaudhary, and Shivadwaj and others are in the cast.
Director Dr. Ramachandrappa said that he has received a very good encouragement from Srinivas who is contacting schools and colleges on screening of the film at half the ticket price obtained in the theatres.
