Films of top stars will be affected immediately after the film workers federation announced their strike starting from Tuesday. Shivarajkumar, whose new film Belli is set to start this week is upset and has said that the federation should not have taken such a hasty decision.
Shivarajkumar said he is upset that the decision was taken without consulting the film makers who were set to use workers from the federation for their films. With the strike, the launch of the film and the scheduled that have already been planned will be affected. He said Launch of the movie will go on schedule as planned.
Other big films that will be affected include Sudeep's Manikya and Darshan's Ambareesha, Vijay's Simhadri. Producer N Kumar's Manikya was to have a new schedule this week and it will be affected. The shooting of the film is racing towards an early April release. If the strike continues the film's release will be affected. Mahesh Sukhadare directed Ambareesha which was readying for an early May release. More than affecting the release dates, cancellation of shooting will result in loss for producers who would have arranged finances and put up sets and made investments on other arrangements
