The members of  the Regional film Censor Board headed by Nagaraj viewed the film Sathyananda  directed by Madan Patel on Friday.  The film's screening was organised for a   devotee and an  advocate representing the controversial Swamiji Nithyananda  who had raised objections to the making of the film and had even stopped its certification from Censors.
Nithyananda had obtained the stay from Civil Court propagating, screening of the film, but Madan Patel had approached the Karnataka High Court requesting the viewing of the film by the Censor Board members.   The Censor Board is just acting on the orders of the High Court and had organised a show for the viewing by the board members and had allowed a devotee and advocate.
The Censor Board officer Nagaraj spoke to Chitraloka Mega Portal said that the Nithyananda devotee and the counsels have been given one weeks time to raise any objections for the issue of Certification  so as to enable them to consider them.  However the Censor certificate will be issued only on the basis of the censor guidelines and the High Court directions as the matter is now clearly with the High Court, says Nagaraj.
