A.P.Arjun directed Adhdhuri starring debutant Dhruv Sarja and Radhika Pandit and produced by Ben Chikkaswamy is turning out to be a Mega hit even surpassing all the expectations it had created after two weeks of its release.  The super success of Dandupalya directed by Sreenivasa Raju has not stopped the Adhdhuri Juggernaut and it looks as if there is no stopping for the movie.  The film is expected to beat Dandupalya collections in the Mysore distribution area while Dandupalya is in the lead in Northern and Hyderabad Karnataka area.

Trade analysts had felt that the release of films like Dandupalya and Ganesh starrer Romeo may act as a speed breaker to the advancement of Adhdhuri, but frankly this is not happening throughout the state. Even in B and C centres the romantic film is doing very well much beyond the expectations.

Notwithstanding the collections in Sagar and Prasanna (It may run for eight weeks which may be a record for a small budget film to facilitate the release of Shiva on August 10) Sagar is sure to complete 100 days as one theatre in Mysore where collections are very good.  In Mandya, Davanagere, Shimoga and other major centres, the film is doing very well. According to the distribution sources, the collections in Mandya's Sanjaya theatre, the film is creating a record of sorts by getting revenue  which is almost near to what films like Sarathee, Gaja, Jackie, Hudugru, did in that centre, even surpassing collections of other major star's films.

If the present trend continues then the film may run for a 100 days, says a trade analyst.

The multiplex collections are much better for the film with collections in Gopalan Cinemas in RR Nagar, INOX in Malleshwaram, Rockline Cinemas still in the steady range.  The film is expected to complete a eight to ten week run in these theatres.  And already the theatres which had removed Adhdhuri after two to three weeks are securing the release rights of this film as the craze has now increased.
