Finally, Anand Appugol's magnum opus "Kranti Vera Sangolli Raayanna' directed by Naganna and which has Challenging Star Darshan has cleared all its obstacles to hit the screen on the Rajyothsava Day to please the Kannada film fans.
The Kannada film audience will finally decide about Sangolli Raayanna's merits and Box office returns of the film, but there are some more problems for other Kannada film producers who have readied their films for release after the giant gets released on November 1.
Many film producers say that if the date of KVSR release was certain, they would have planned their release much earlier and would have made preparations to this effect. But the mystery shrouding the film's release and absence of any information about the problems related to the delayed release had made them to wait for the KVSR release. The Holiday period after Dussera witnessed release of two light weight films like "Ball Pen' and "Golmal'.

On November 1, besides the hugely hyped KVSR another film "Dakota Picture' produced by Rockline Venkatesh and directed by Om Prakash Rao is also getting released.
On 9th November, two Kannada films "Prem Adda directed by Mahesh Babu and Edhegaarike directed by Sumana Kiththoor= are planned for release in Bengaluru's main theatres like Kapali and another theatre in K.G.Road., while Novmber 16 will see the release of Yogaraj Bhat directed "Drama' produced by Jayanna most probably in Sagar. Prem Adda has received approval certificate from the Animal Board, while the application of Drama may get cleared on November 1 meeting.
Shivaraj Kumar's Lakshmi directed by Raghava Loki has been planned for release on November 30. But this will depend on the collections of Upendra's Kalpana which seems to be doing very well in all the centres around the state. "Guru' is also trying for a release on November 16, while Ramu is trying to sequeeze in his "Veera' release on November 30 or a week later. By that time it is hoped that Aparna may get free after a 50 days running in many centres around the state.
Meanwhile two Komal starrers "Radhikan Ganda' and his home production film "Nandeesha' may also get released in November or December.
Producers of films like Bangaari, Super Shashtri and Jinke Mari are also trying to squeaze in their release in the month of November. Uppi starrer Kalpana is having a good run in many B and C centes in Mysore and Northern Karnataka distribution area and it has to be seen whether some theatres will be free from November 1 for release of KVSR.
One positive outcome of the rush of releases is that many Kannada films may get released in theatres which have screened only non Kannada films in their theatres.
