All the decks have been cleared by the Animal Welfare Board which has accepted the affidavit signed by Anand Appugol, producer of Kranti Veera Sangolli Rayanna directed by Naganna and starring Challenging
Star Darshan and Ms. Jayaprada in the roles of Raayanna and Kiththoor Chennamma respectively. The film is made under the banner of Sangolli Raayanna Cine creations was waiting for clearance from the Animal
Welfare Board using Animals in many sequences of the film including the War sequences. The application did not contain certain clarifications and now the producer has submitted all the relevant forms sought by the Animal Board.
According to the website of the Animal Welfare Board which has announced its approval of the application of producers, the film has used various animals including forty Horses, Six , Elephants,, Six Camels, Horses-Hero riding horse and solders coming in 20 horses and scene background standing with solders and 40 horses standing in atmospheric and also in war sequence. Elephants-used in war and song sequence with atmosphere scene. Camels-used in song and background standing.
The film has already been censored with U/A certificate a few days ago, but the release of the film was delayed because of the delay in getting the approval from the Animal Welfare Board.
