Requesting anonymity, a source from the Censor Board who has watched the film gave a firm thumbs up for the film. He added that there are lot of commercial elements in this historical magnum opus which keeps the audience engaged throughout the film's running time. "If you want to describe the film in just one word, I can only say "Fantastic'. As everything concerned with the film that includes the making of the film, performances of artists, dialogues, technical work, song picturisations, patriotic fervor and the realistic narration looks perfect in the film' says people who have worked for the film.
The film's entire team has been in high spirits after it got cleared from censor board. An unexpected bonus was the wholesome appreciation from the Censor Board members who had watched the film. Director Naganna and writer Keshava Adithya looks much relieved now.
They had put in nearly four years of hard work starting from doing a complete research on Raayanna to complete the entire work for the film to get it ready for release and showing it to the Censor Board.
Now that the Censor Board has cleared the film, they have time to promote the film. Already 50 cutouts of Darshan is ready and many of them have reached their destinations. Nearly 60 percent of these cutouts have been dispatched to the Northern Karnataka centers where Raayanna is being revered as a demi god.
As for as producer Anand Appugol was concerned he was supremely confident once the audio function was held a few days ago. He says that he is confident that the entire cost of making will be recovered and he will earn profits. But he will not take even one paisa of profit generated for him, but spend it on propagating the values of Sangolli Raayanna and taking up some developmental activities in the name of Raayanna. The making of Chakravarthy may be further delayed.
