Rishikumara, a self styled godman who was wearing saffron robes and appearing as a conscinece keeper of the state in various channels has been discredited now.  The daring expose undertaken by a few channels has put  this  maverick swamiji under the dock.  He had gained dubious popularity by posing himself as an expert talking on various issues as though he was espousing the cause of upholding the truth and justice.
But see how this Swamiji behaved when he was offered a huge sum to dilute his diatribe against another discredited god man Nithyananda.  Rishikumara became so famous in a few days of his channel appeances, that he claimed that a Super Star like Upendra would immediately lift his calls. He was instantly selected to play himself in a film Devaraane directed by Lucky Shankar.  Lucky Shankar had  claimed in channel interviews later that Rishikumar was at his best in dubbing for the film and even in his few minutes appearance in the film.  But now he has changed track that he got Rishikumaara only because he was pestering for a role in the film.  How this film industry people change the tracks in some situations can easily be seen in the way Lucky Shankar had behaved.
But now the news is that Lucky Shankar has decided to chop off all the sequences relating to Rishi Kumara.  The real tragedy of this whole Tamasha is that  Rishi Kumara is doing a role where he is supposed to have advised people to be extremely careful about the fake swamijis.  Lucky Shankar has also incorporated a sequence where Rishi Kumara says how a Swamiji should behave and enlighten the devotees to take out a right path.  The whole sequence could have looked extremely funny now that Rishi Kumara stands exposed.
It is also a caution for the film industry people not to believe in such fake swamijis.  Rishi Kumara was talking to producer K.Manju in a telephone channel programme as though he was very close.  K.Manju had even requested Swamiji not to be hostile towards some film personaliies.  K.Manju was referred to as Manjanna and Swamiji even remembered the number of instances when he had requested the well known producer to send car for him to undertake some trips.
There are some great sages in Karnataka like the  revered Swamiji of Siddaganga Mutt,  Jagadguru Bharathi Swamiji of Sringeri Mutt, Sirigere Mutt Swamiji who brought in reforms by making people to shed all bad habits like drinking and smoking, Murugarajendra Mutt Swamiji,  Uttharaadi Mutt Swamiji who is spreading the greatness of Sanatana Dharma, Pejawar Mutt Swamiji  and a number of  other  Swamijis  whose inspirational  speeches are to be followed.  The swamijis like Rishi Kumara should be forbidden to speak on Hinduism as they are more interested in personal aggrandizement and striking deals.
