With highly impressive reviews in the media, S.S.Rajamouli directed "Makkhi' starring Kiccha Sudeep, Samantha Prabhu and Naani is making a big sound in Bollywood. Though the film opened to an ordinary response in North, it is expected to draw big crowds in the coming Holiday and festival season in Mumbai and other North Indian metropolis and cities.
The reviews have been excellent with a top critic like Rajeev Masand of IBN Live giving the film four out of five star rating. He writes: Kannada actor Sudeep plays his part of the cold-hearted villain with true comic book flair and even a cartoonish tinge. It is because he is a powerful antagonist that you relish the face-off between the fly and him. Even if the film gets a tad repetitive towards the climax, it ends up a unique cinematic experience.
