Kannada film actress Pooja Gandhi who was lying low these days since her party chief and Janata Dal (Secular) leader Kumar rebuked her in a Channel programme, tried for some damage control exercise. Pooja Gandhi celebrated her birthday which fell on Sunday (October 7) by visiting Acharya school of Physically Challenged to migle with some blind students.  Pooja Gandhi went to teh school along with her parents and family members to distribute sweets and even spend some time with them.  She even danced with the students for a while for her own popular songs from Mungaru Male and other films.

The Male girl had a hit in Dandupalya did make some news when she agreed to do an item number for Guruprasad direced  "Directors Special'.  Her film career took a beating after Jai Hind ended as a disaster in the Box office.  Added to that was the criticism leveled against her by BJP leader Ayanoor Manjunath who called her as a Dandupalya queen and later her own party leader H.D.Kumara Swamy rebuked her.

Meanwhile Pooja Gandhi's mentor Yogaraj Bhat will be celebrating his birthday on Monday (October 8). However his mobile was not reachable on Monday morning when some well wishers called him to offer birthday wishes.  Looks like Bhat had a birthday bash on Sunday night with his Shishyas and well wishers in the film industry.  Anyway, Yogaraj Bhat will be busy doing post production for his forthcoming release Drama produced by Jayanna and which has Ambareesh, Radhika Pandit in lead roles.
