Kannada film producer Benkoshri who is already on high because of a successful run of his film Bhageerathi which is credited with being the first Kannada film this year to complete a hundred day run in a single released theatre says that he will be launching the film Adda for sure.
"We stood almost six months to give the final shape to the script and the music composition. It has come out well. Now, the decks are clear for us to go ahead with this project with the title, as the City Civil Court has dismissed the petition filed by producer Murali Krishna for retention of the title "Prem Adda' for the film. Even the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce which is seized of the title problem has been trying to render justice to my claim. I sincerely believe KFCC will be favouring me' said Benkoshri.
Benkoshri argued that the actions indulged by producer Murali Krishna amounted to contempt of court and his definance of the orders given by KFCC should invite punishment from the Apex trade body.
"They do not have any legal claim over the title now. Even the City Civil court which heard the petition of Murali Krishna has now dismissed the petition for claiming the title' said Benkoshri. He objected to the usage of Prem Adda title by producer Meka Murali Krishna and said that in the light of the court's order the audio release function cannot be held keeping the same title.
Ashwini Krishna Prasad and Adda director Santhu were also present in the press meet.
