Actress-producer-director Priya Hassan has been nominated as the state president of the women's wing of the Karnataka Rakshana Vedike headed by Narayana Gowda. The announcement to this effect was made on Saturday night.
Talking to Chitraloka, Priya Hassan expressed satisfaction over her selection and said that she would work hard for getting an identity and enhance the dignity of the Kannada women. She added that she has already some plans to fulfill her objective of rendering Justice to affected women in the society.  Priya Hassan thanked Narayana Gowda, President of the KRV for reposing confidence on her and promised to discharge her responsibilities in the best way.
