Doodhpeda Dinganth and Beautyful Bhama are teamed up in the film Burphy directed by Rajashekhar (Now Sekhar) who had earlier made films like "Amruthavani' and "Parole". The film started off with a big pooja and muhurath function on Wednesday at Doddaganapathy Temple in Basavanagudi.  Ms. Tara Anuradha, the new MLC flagged off the film's start.  K.M. Shankar is the producer of the film.
Giving the details about the film in a press meet, Rajashekhar said that he had worked for the script with a team of writers including the screenplay and dialogue writer B.A.Madhu and had made six revisions.

"The script is the strongest link and we have made appropriate selections of the artists are finalising the script which nearly stood an year for us. Diganth plays the role of a software engineer in the film. The film has romantic elements, but it is based on matured love.
Even Bhama has a very good character. We are shooting for nearly fifteen days in the state of Punjab. in Wagha border,  Golden Temple in Amritsar, Chandigarh and other places.  There is a terrorism angle in the story which we would not like to reveal.  But one thing is sure.  This film will  provide some thrills and some exciting things to look forward' said Sekhar.
Diganth said that he had known Sekhar for many days and both of them wanted to make films together.  "It just happened that Sekhar had a good script and I instantly liked it.  The story has many shades including romance, terrorism and thrills included' said Diganth.
Bhama who had come to the muhurath just  gave some bites to the television media and posed for photographs.  She did not come to the press meet as she was attending the shooting of  Auto Raja with Ganesh.
Sekhar has Arjun Janya to compose music for the film, while Gundlupet Suresh in the cinemetographer.  B.A.Madhu is the writer of Burphy.
