Shiva producer K.P.Srikanth says that he will ensure the release of hugely awaited Shivaraj Kumar starrer "Shiva' on August 10 all around the state and has promised to give a progress report about the film's post production work from time to time.
I am as much disappointed like any other Shivaraj Kumar fan for the postponement of the release of my film Shiva, as I am the biggest ardent fan of the Century Star. As at present we are getting the first copy ready by July 27, the Varamahalakshmi festival day. On 30th July we are planning to have the screening for the Censors. The delay in getting the first copy was not due to any other thing but because of the seventeen minutes graphics work which took a longer time than expected. This is not in our hands and only experts can do and certify the work. Our technical department has worked day and night to get the portions for graphics work ready in time. The experts in the lab told us that graphics would be a major attraction of the film and it can not be done in a fixed time frame.
K.P.Srikanth says that the lab people had told him that the lab's quality control department should be completely satisfied about the work. as they had decided to give the best attention to the product. However we will be able to receive the complete graphics work within a short time.
Detailing another problems, K.P.S. said that since many of the shots were shot in 1000 frames, there were some colour corrections needed to match the remaining sequences. "Our film's cinemetographer Sathya Hegde has sat for more than a week to get the perfect grading for the film' said Srikanth.
Srikanth said that the film would be released on August 10 which saw the release of two big films in Kannada- Bandhana starring Dr. Vishnuvardhana and AK 47 starring Shivaraj Kumar.
