Well known writer and progressive writer Agni Sridhar says that the Audithya-Akanksha starrer "Edhegaarike' based on his own novel and directed by his protege Sumana Kiththoor has really impressed him and he is confident that the film will be much appreciated when released.
Speaking at a media conference of the film, Agni Sridhar said that he saw the rough cutting and was really disappointed with the product. But when the final edited copy was seen, his satisfaction knew no bounds and he was hugely happy that his literary work has been given its due in the cinematic form.
"It was director Veteran director S.V.Rajendra Singh Babu who wanted to obtain the rights of the film to make a film with his son Adithya as a hero. But now my brother Ravindra and Bachchan are producing this film. Adithya's performance and Sumana's direction will stand out' said Sridhar.
Adithya said that Edhegaarike is not like any other usual film and it is one film that he can really count as a performer. "Sridhar's novel was just like a film script. I enjoyed reading it. It was a thrilling experience to work in this film. I was just thinking about Sona'c character in the novel, when Sumana offered me the role. My fahter just said accept it without any hesitation. That was it' said Adithya.
Srujan Lokesh said that it is the silence which talks more in the film than the characters in the film. "I have a dream role in the film' said Srujan. Another actor Dharma says he has dubbed with a base voice.
Sadhu Kokila has provided background score for the film which does not have any songs.
