Director M.D.Sridhar once again proves that he is a minimum guarantee successful director through his latest film Sagar produced by Ramu Enterprises, known for making big budget entertainers.  The film is made in a big span and the production values are very rich.  The right combination of  all commercial elements and rich production values for which producer Ramu is famous for makes the film "Sagar' an engaging watch.  The action and song portions are shot very well.
Sagar becomes a good watch mainly because of some exceptionally brilliant visual shots of abroad, songs and superb stunts. M.D.Sridhar keeps the audience engaged in the first half which is thoroughly enjoyable.  Though the film's second half could have been crisper, the film again takes a serious turn from the moment Radhika Pandit reveals her flashback.  It is the creative director's ability to hold the suspense element till then.
Prajwal Devaraj who obtained a break through N.Kumar's "Bhadra' as an action hero further consolidates the position by doing some terrific stunts in this film. His comedy sequences could have come out good if some well known comedian had acted with him.   Radhika
Pandit's expressive eyes,  fantastic song movements and charming presence are the major attractions.  Hari Priya proves her talents in performance and dancing, while Sanjjana sizzles in a small but critical role.  Dev Gill is really meancing as a villain, while Aadi Lokesh could have a little more space to prove his talents.  All the other veteran actors perfectly suit their roles.
Sagar has been released on the birthday  of Malashri.  Malashri had loads of luck. Let us wish Ramu  will have loads of luck with him to make Sagar a big hit.  But this film is certainly in a hit category is well known.
Watch Sagar. It is treat for younger fans who like action, romance and some good songs. Even  for family audience, it is a good package.
