The problems between Kannada film producers and the Workers Federation regarding the revision of workers pau has finally sorted out. It has been decided that the workers must continue to work with the present pay structure for next 120 days, until a permanent solution for the problems is arrived for which both the producers as well as the workers have given their consent.
Earlier, on Monday evening the meeting between the producers and workers failed as both of them could not come to a conclusion about the revision of pay structure of the workers. On Tuesday morning it was decided in the producers meeting that if the workers don't heed to the producers decision, then a new union will be formed by the producers association which is producer friendly.
But even before the producers could decide about the formation of a new union, the problems have been successfully sorted out by the producers and the workers after a meeting held before Additional Commisioner Jinkalappa. There it was decided that the workers must stick on to the existing pay structure for the next four months and meanwhile a decision will be taken about solving this issue permanently. With this decision the problems have been solved and shooting will resume smoothly from Wednesday onwards.
KFCC president H D Ganagaraju, KFPA president Muniratna, workers federation president Ashok and others were present at the meeting.
