Soorappa Babu Apologises to Meena Toogudeepa

Kannada film producer Soorappa Babu has apologised to Ms. Meena Toogudeepa, wife of Veteran talented actor and a great human being Toogudeepa Sreenivas for his disparaging remarks three years ago  in a drunken state.   "I was not conscious of what I was speaking or what I was doing.  I did something wrong which even my mother would not have pardoned. I want to fall at the feet of Ms. Meena Toogudeepa and seek her pardon and blessings' said Soorappa Babu in a press meet organised in the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce to put an end to the raging controversy.    Darshan fans who were around wanted Soorappa Babu to apologise to Ms. Meena by falling at her feet, Dinakar and his mother told that since the Babu was apologetic and wanted to express regret for his behaviour, nothing should be demanded more than that. 

Meena Toogudeepa and her second son Dinakar Toogudeepa were present in the press conference along with K.V.Chandrashekhar, President of KFCC, Sa. Ra.Govindoo, Secretary KFCC,   Munirathna, the President of the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce, S. Ramesh, President of the Kannada film directors association.

Century Star Shivaraj Kumar also spoke about the controversy and said that he had great respects towards Toogadeepa Sreenivas who was an eminent  fimy personality and deserved all respects.   "If I had come to know that a person connected to me had spoken in such a manner, I would have certainly taken him to task.  This sort of behaviour is not expected from a producer of the calibre of Soorappa Babu' Shivaraj Kumar angrily said
