DATTA SHOOT COMPLETE– Ajathashatru of Kannada cinema

The mood and tempo built up on the muhurut day of the film in most of the cases does not remain the same when the film is complete. 'Datta' is an exception. The intimacy has developed more between the producer, director Gurudutt and the team of the film. Each one of them exchanged the lovely atmosphere in all the days of shooting at Eagleton Club near Bidadi – the day the film completed shooting recently.

The dream of my father Chi.Udayashanker has come true. Despite of hectic schedule Darshan has extended good cooperation remembered Gurudutt. At places Darshan helped me in direction because after 10 years I am directing a film said Gurudutt. Two songs for the film have been shot in Austria. At Mini Mundas the world famous caricatures is captured in the song sequence. The work at Mini Mundas is still in progress since 48 years and we had the first opportunity to shoot in its surroundings. Two more songs will be shot in Dubai. Keerthi Chawla is playing the second heroine in this film. She is a traditional girl and she would get a breakthrough in this film opines Gurudutt. The stunts of Ravi Varma and R.P.Patnayak songs have come out well compliments Gurudutt.

Darshan on the other hand appreciated the lavish spending and caliber of Gurudutt.

The specialty of this film is that Sonic Camera that can capture 500 fames per second has been pressed for action. This is for the first time in Kannada. Five cameras have been used to get the speed for the film.
