Duniya Vijay the hero of Rajani Kantha says that he has been dragged into a controversy though he is in no way connected to it. He was speaking about the raging controversy involving dance choreographer Imran and actress Aindrita Ray in which both of them have traded charges against each other.
In a reaction to a question specifically asked about the controversy, actor Vijay said what can be termed as a virtual clean chit to Aindria Ray. "While the shooting was going on I was not aware about any conversation going on between Andy and Imran. Andy is a very good actress and Imran is one the most passionate dance directors. Each of them are experts in their respective segments. But one thing I should make clear is that I was not informed about any controversy between them during the time of the dance shoot in Singapore. If what Imran alleges is true which however has not come to my notice, then I think it is better for Aindrita to amend her ways. But I have not come across any incident where Aindrita has behaved in that fashion' said Vijay.
Vijay was speaking to media friends after the conclusion of the press meet of the launch of his new film "Jayammana Maga' directed by newbie director Vikas.
Vijay said that the dance shoot had occurred two months ago and he was surprised that it had raked up now and his name was also dragged. "The last thing I expect is to be part of any controversy at this point of time' he said.
Vijay said already the Kannada film industry is facing shortage of good heroines and it would be unfair to target successful heroines. He however reiterated that he has lot of respects to the craft of both Imran and Aindrita Ray.
